My girlfriend was scared that I would get angry easier or more aggravated, but really the exact opposite has been true. I let things go so much easier and overall I'm more relaxed. I smile much more too, but that could be because I'm more comfortable in my skin. :) Fear not.

mood swings aren't as big of a deal (the first few months possibly, but not so bad...) as long as your testosterone levels are not too high.

I did change a lot....for example I cry a lot less....but my personality is the same...only better.

everyone reacts differently....don't worry.....I'd say talk to some other women, heather for example, about how to deal with it. good thing you're on TMAtes...theres plenty of people to talk to you about it!

I am a trans guy and I have been on t for 10 months. I have one suggestion for you interms of possible mood swings. I would suggest that you ask the doc. to put him on weekly injections it helps minimize the mood swings and I know this from my own personal experience. I would not under any circumstance suggest the shot every 3 weeks cause he will def. have mood swings by the last week before his shot is due.
