Craig Gross is doing something positive in reaching out to those affected by the porn industry. Remember it was the religious people that criticized Jesus for hanging with prostitutes and tax collectors.
All these people are doing is educating people of the consequences-spiritual consequences of pornography. They are reaching out to people who are in the porn industry and who support it. Those people need Christ. All they are doing is planting a seed. I have struggled with pornography and I don't believe that pornography is right but the fact that there is a group who is willing to listen and understand and evangelize those with whom they have a relationship is great. It is needed. It is mercy.

I don't really think the issues raised by porn are as clearcut as either of these theistically driven organizations would have it, but you make a very good point about the character known as Jesus and what was said about him in the bible. A very big problem arises however as soon as one sees this character, or scripture itself as an authority on most anything. The issues raised here would surely be better treated with sound reason.

First of all, the sinners around Jesus were not his main company. IT was with the 12 he spent most of his time. Then there was the 72 in which he spent lots of time with just not as much. I agree with XXXchurch and its motives. Pornography is prostitution; its etymology is even from the greek, writings of prostitutes. It's voyeuristic human sex trafficking at best. I just wish that people realized that libertinism is just a blanket term for entrancement in sexual idolatry. They don't want to be confined to abstinance and monogomy, but are confined to sexual orgies and other strange, non-committal sex acts. Friel says "DON'T WATCH PORN!!!" Craig actually demonstrates the gospel.

Todd friel really concerns me! His lip service to salvation seems to harbor more entertainment value than evangelical value. I'm starting to think he is such an ardent believer in WORDS salvation that even his REFORMED theology isn't from the original seed. I'm also beginning to believe he's dangerous to the gospel and he himself needs salvation 'cause his version of grace isn't cutting it.

I'm sorry you see it that way my friend. Todd Friel is part of that secular order with some of his Lutheran-Calvinist teachings. i hope and pray the Lord sheds the light of grace on you so you can TRULLY witness the Truth. Gordok79 is absolutely right on his analysis.

Why exactly is Way Of The Master any closer to Christ or the Holy Spirit than XXXChurch or any other believers? Who decided that these guys are "true" Christians and not just voices of conservative, W.A.S.P.y propaganda in the guise of morality? I guess you can only be truly used by the Lord if you have Kirk Cameron on your side. The American evangelical movement seems to consist of nothing but a bunch of judgemental old W.A.S.P.s wanking their own egos and attacking others to feel superior.

I agree that pornography is absolutely disguisting, but the ministry name is not helping discouraging pornography.
My deepest desire is that the ministry changes its name completely. There's plenty of outreach ministries that do not have a name like that.

Have you ever watched the commercial? I have, and if Ron Jeremy's opinion is that porn is ok for adults and not okay for children, then why would a 'christian' ministry endorse it? And I don't recall saying anything about their use of the word penis or phallus. And by your statement about using my brain - that's the perfect example of a hypocrite - trying to correct someone and in that correction throws in an insult.

This Christian ministry does not agree/endorse anything other than the idea that porn is NOT for children. That is where both sides find common ground. It is useful when two opposing sides say "OK we disagree on a lot of things, but here's something we CAN agree on." It adds more strength to the movement, which is to keep porn away from kids.

Christians are not to yoke themselves with non-believers in that manner. What fellowship does light have with darkness? My comments are not driven by any fear, I am well aware of XXXChurch and what they do, being that I'm a former sex industry worker I am aware of these types of ministries. Using statements like "#1 Christian porn site" is deceiving, we are to avoid all appearances of evil. The only authority is scripture.

As much as I love arguing with fundies via the internet, I think I'm gonna cease fire. We obviously have disagreements on what qualifies as a true Christian. Sola Scripture is false, and I do not judge the salvation of others. You seem to be pretty sure that WotM folks are "saved," yet you question the salvation of the folks at XXXChurch.
I'll leave that to God.

freesnowcone maybe you should take the Persepctives Course. And listen to the Paul Washer videos. Even our evengelism used on the streets is Biblicaly wrong. And if you are bringing people to Jesus of the gospel they preach, that is the wrong Jesus. It is a greavous thing to think we can change and water down the true God.

We are so Hyper Sensitive in America. Told is doing talk radio. He has to be provacative in order for folks to listen. His heart is right and so is XXXchurch. We need this critism in our lives because we don't have all the answers. Just my opinion.

The attitude he displays is why there is a 75% addiction problem among adults and around a 68% addiction among ministers. Let's just not talk about it in any form and it will all just go away. The "Christian" response!?! This is an ad for kids, it is not for adults. It is talking about kids need to ask their parents about it because there ARE kids that are getting exposed and addicted to this stuff at an early age. Please grow up!!! Your attitude is "tragic".

Craig Gross's book 'The Gutter' sets out what the guys in triple x church are basically about.
Jesus hung out with hookers, lepers and the social rejects.
If no-one reaches out to the pornography industry then how are those hurting, damaged people going to be reconciled with their heavenly Father and Creator?
The Pete the Porno puppet adverts were made with a renowned porn producer. I pray that the things triplexchurch is doing continue. And I pray that this guy gives them a break.

im not sure this guy understands how big of an issue porn is in the world AND in the church or how young kids are exposed to porn these days. geez this guy is really judgemental. he may not like their methods but give them a break. at least respect their motives.

Todd knows how big an issue porn is in this country and in the world for that matter. His argument is against the methods by which this ministry deals with the issue. Porn is a sin and conceives sin and thus breeds forth death. Lust is adultery...point blank! Instead of saying just that, the XXX church seems to make light of it instead of biblically responding to it. Men and women are going to hell b/c of this! The alarm is necessary!!

While i do think the commercial is stupid. that's is the point a commercial like this. for far to long Christians as a whole have not even discussed porno or sex. use the commercial as a starting point not to attack the producers of the commercial but to delve into what the bible has to say about sexuality.

I would imagine it's the "Porn and Pancakes" breakfast. Which is an awesome thing. It is for men only, and helps get the issues out there, and help people to get the help they need. this guy needs to get his head of the sand, and acknowledge that some men ligitamately struggle with pornography, and need help. this guy needs a muzzle.

I think it's the fact that, at a porn convention, they had a big 40 foot (or so) tall balloon object in the shape of a part of the male anatomy at their booth to attract people to their table.

I have always supported xxxchurch and I have actually watched this commercial. Still, after really thinking about it, the commercial is really annoying and I think a waste of money and time. I'll probably take the link off my page now. Not because of Todd Friel but because of the ignorance behind these commercials.

Most of this video seemed to be not attacking the big issue. I don't know much about XXXChurch but I thought it was something to help people get away from porn.

These guys are in the trenches with the dirt and sinners...same as Jesus ! Just as the Pharisees scoffed at Christ for hanging out with sinners, so people like this are today. Christ was here for the sick. People speaking like this are the reason why the church is so cold. No activity, no action...just sitting in the seats, worshiping Jesus and playing it safe. This guys is a perfect example.

I couldn't agree more. These guys want to live a pious life to "thank" Jesus or pay him back for his GIFT OF GRACE. How silly? Todd Friel makes me sick when I hear him. He is so arrogant, so condescending when he speaks about other Christians who try to reach out to people in their own way. The guy really makes me furious. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the people they "witness" to don't become truly saved. These are self-righteous jerks, who preach WORKS SALVATION.

The power of salvation is in the TRUE GOSPEL, not in some slick emotional and psychological manipulation. Preach the gospel to everyone, you don't need a formula to save men. You need Christ and Him crucified for our sins.

Jesus was eating with sinners, he did not separated himself from them. BUt he never joined them in what they are doing. He never encouraged what they were doing.
I saw T.Friel preaching the gospel and he really does love people. BUt he is very correct in exposing lies and bringing sin into the light.

@masterowa Jesus did not advocate it was ok to sin, he didn't seperate himself from them buthe did call them to repent and turn from sin, in mat mark and luke he did say that if they rejected you and would not listen to you to eave that town and whipe the dust off your feet

@Friendoflord yeah, I totally agree. That's why I said Jesus did not join in their sins nor enouraged wickedness. My point was that he did not despised those he came to save when they were in their sins. We were all called at the point when we were totally sinful. So what I meant was that Christ worked through calling what is unpure and cleansing it rather than separating himself from those people.

First of all, the sinners around Jesus were not his main company. IT was with the 12 he spent most of his time. Then there was the 72 in which he spent lots of time with just not as much. The sinners refered to the fact that all were welcome in the meetings, but in the inner circle was an exclusive club (granted Jesus picked Judas but thats another debate. )
