I first heard this song around 1977. I was blown away that sounds like this were even possible. hahaha How naive I was. Love this tune. A real memory maker for me. Thanks for posting it.
Nice Video, looks like we kind like the same thing, If you really are into meteorites check out our new association (kansasmeteoriteassociation(dot)weebly(dot)com) we will have our new you tube channel up and running soon. I'll be subscribing as well. Keep the videos coming.
Simply magical tune created by Prism; wow, what a song!! Thanks for posting; first heard in 76/77; fell in love with this song, stll love it as before; unique combination of instrumental.
If you are on Facebook, please visit Prism: The Ron Tabak Era. All the videos are linked there, as well as some awesome photography and memorabilia from the days when arena rock ruled..
Did you know that the original Keyboard player of Prism John Hall walks his 6 afghan hounds with his wife and new baby along False Creek to Granville Island almost everyday.
Thank you ReneeNme...There are soooo many fans who just don't know the facts surrounding Rons death so i like to share what i know to clarify and give them a little more understanding as to what happened regarding his death. Oh and his memorial service was held at the " First Christian Reformed Church Of New Westminster....( ironically it was on 13th ave in Burnaby B.C ) hmmm go figure...lol Ron was a gentle giant with a God given gift of an angelic voice
" The planet dies and no one cries, so hard to believe...If there were somewhere else to go you know I'd be the first to leave " I hold firm belief that Ron's death was not untimely but quite the opposite. It was his time and God was calling one of his angels home. This is what Ron's heart longed for and i believe that the proof is in his music.
May Ron live eternally within our hearts and his soul forever in peace in heaven
Ron went to Burnaby General Hospital where the staff had thought he was drunk and Phoned the R.C.M.P who then questioned Ron and arrested him for being drunk and disorderly. Later that evening Ron died from his injuries, which was a large brain hemorrhage. An investigation was launched and the police were cleared of any charges of negligence..I remember his funeral as if it were yesterday.I have never seen a church so full as i did that day
Sometime later Ron was reinstated as the bands lead singer. Christmas eve of 1980 Ron was riding his bicycle to the home of one of the other band members in Burnaby British Columbia when he was hit by a car.
Ron would occasionally sing on stage in clubs in New Westminster British Columbia. That's where he was noticed and got his first real big break that led to rock stardom. During the peak of his career Ron again found God and wanted to move the bands musical genre in that direction which did not go over too well with a few of the other band members and Ron was basically given his walking papers.
i'm a vancouver guy too, and always loved prism. i never knew how ron died, very sad. i bought a set of "staccato" drums from rockit norton, where is he now, and who was the main drummer, i heard theres an instructor in town here who was also in prism?
I saw the original versions of these videos and all i can say is you did a great job fixing them up. A fitting tribute to a gentle giant with an angelic voice. I can still see the pain and sorrow in Ron's mothers eyes at his funeral just as if it were yesterday. Rejoice in his passing...do not grieve in his death, His wish was granted
Very nicely said primeoicu812.When I first joined YT I spent the longest time trying to shed light on the many misconceptions regarding Ron's passing.I finally gave up.He was quite the man.

Every night it's a different flight,
To a different galaxy,
I do a sold-out show then I hit the road,
In my starship limousine...
We miss Ron, lots -

@sparkles67 IIRC, Jim Vallance was the original drummer for Prism. I think he played on the first album and did one tour before hanging it up.

Prism was a very under rated group. Their music from the seventies was great.
