So the main thing about this run is the abuse of UFO power. By pressing select at the right moment when getting hit, Kirby can keep the UFO power while the game thinks he has no power, so UFO is not reset at the end of each level (nor is it lost when taking another hit). Kirby can now travel quickly, efficiently kill enemies to reduce lag, and bust up the snotboxes of bosses with haste.
@advancedpillow It's just that Kirby doesn't seem to get as much praise and attention like other Nintendo stars; such as Samus, Link, Mario, and even Pikachu.
@wilecoyote87 i'd have to say i agree with you, mostly. unfortunately, its all about the games. ive been a fan of the little guy since the beginning when he was a white puff ball on game boy. but more often than not, his games have been hit or miss. that probably decreases the public attention and praise given to the little guy. still, he is a beloved character.

It would have rocked to play through the game as UFO it was the best power up in that game.

How do you get the saucer after you beat a level?

Interesting glitch he uses here. Seems it tricks the game into maintaining UFO as his Normal Form. I'll be looking this one up.

@quatreryukami What happens if he loses the ability

@1jim3bob As I said, it seems he tricks the game to believing it IS his normal ability. Not entirely sure about this one.

@wilecoyote87 i know this is a very old comment, but in your opinion what makes kirby underrated? just curious.
