This isn't a good recording to judge with. I actually thought that Brian Adams' performance was a rare jewel within the rest of this travesty.

I'm also a huge Gilmour fan but the guy (Kilmaster) playing the leads on rhe current Wall tour played everything (incl the Comf Numb solo) equal to what Gilmour recorded and actually better than Gilmour played it live (saw him play it 3X) I saw Waters on other tours and would agree with you until this year.

The solo sucked. No one can play Gilmour's solos exept Gilmour. It looked like the guy was playing a Jackson too, with doesn't belong anywhere near Pink Floyd music.

@apage251 i posted a comment a few weeks a go re, waters and his band playing c numb,on the c numb waters you tube hit. i commented that 2 session guitarists could never come close to david. 2 people posted remarks back to me, basically implying that i was harsh and judemental. i am not FACT OF LIFE IS THAT GILMOUR NAILS THIS.no is probably not the most natural in your face guitarist, but he is ,the greatest deliverer of a point or theme with his beautiful blusey guitar solos 2 die for

@bigals1000 I agree, but I think they were just done with it. Too much hype, regardless of who was in the wrong, it wasn't meant to be any longer. Waters/Gilmour will reunite some day....i hope.

i dont doubt that bryan adams isnt the best but i gotta admit that he did a pretty decent job on this song.... cuz both him and gilmour have distinct voices that can carry this tune quite well and it was also recieved with great applause in berlin
