@bekhelms50 The Channel Master CM-7000PAL has two built-in digital TV tuners so external converter boxes (for over-the-air reception) are not required. If you have this unit connected to your tv via the hdmi, try using the component output instead. Sometimes HDMI between brands don't play well with each other. Hope this helps.

Man, I'm sorry you are having so much trouble with the Channel Master. I can tell you that we've sold plenty, and the problems you are describing are not normal. I personally use one and I've never had an issue.
You might try calling us, we do offer tech support for, 90 days for $29.99 (free when you buy from us) and I'm sure our tech support guys can help. If our techs can do nothing for you, we'll even refund the $29.99.
