  • Yes men have been assholes forever,

But feminism has simply shown that WHOEVER has power WILL abuse it.

    Welcome to the cesspool women,

are you enjoying it down here?

  • MAdMen make room for MadWomen. Thank god digital agencies don't subscribe to this kind of pap.

  • "Power women" all have one thing in common, and that is they are ruthless bitches.

They can't wait to "take on" the boys, and they relish firing men.

They become a corporate killing machine, all because of their obsession with the glass ceiling.

The fact is they ARE too emotional at work. They also get away with lots of things guys can't i.e. dirty jokes, lewd comments, swearing etc etc.

The workplace has become a shithole because of people like this, and it will come back to haunt women.

  • @bloggerjoe yeah thats what I think women are just too emotional to work in business

  • You guys are pathetic. This woman might manipulate you into doing something that will make you happier, and you're afraid of her? She's going to trick you into eating better, exercising more, and brushing your teeth! Oh, the horror!

Seriously, only a few women are smart enough and care enough to figure out how to make the people around them happier. Nina DiSesa is simply telling those women how they can best use that ability.

  • This woman is dangerously insane.

  • Oh great, now we have to worry about if the expression of love is actually manipulation. It's hard enough to give trust without feeling like you're being 'dealt with'

  • " . . . get the men to be better men . . . "

Right. I mean, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of beef-headed dudes in the world, but don't presume that blinding a guy is convincing him.

I work with a whole tribe of alpha chicks who are impossible to deal with - - this approach isn't about dealing with men, it's about dealing with alpha nuts. Let's keep that straight. Praise is universal.

  • she's a part of the problem, not the solution.

  • I might get this book for my girlfriend or sister. All three of us are lawyers.

  • No one likes to be manipulated, it's patronizing, or matronizing in your case. Did you ever stop to think that maybe it's the corporate culture rather than the interpersonal communication that is at fault? Good policy eliminates the need for this kind of sexist treatment.

  • Maybe she's just being a realist?

  • Totally agree with you. Women are being taught that they are the "handlers" for men. It's gotten to the point that it's beyond condescending, the climate is that women BELIEVE it's their obligation to tell me how to act.
