It's so easy to get down when you're that hormonal and exhausted, but you look great! Seriously, your cheeks look pink and healthy, and amazingly you still look really well rested ;-). At the end of my pregnancy I just got really testy and irritable, which is just my way of handling feeling down. So I just made everyone else miserable with me, lol. Hopefully that cervix and hip pain means things are happening down there, you're getting so close!
I say do whatever feels best for you when your labor comes. Im a firm believer that every woman is strong enough to endure labor naturally IF they want to; but that doesnt mean they have to or even should. Know you have the stregnth for natural labor but it doesnt make you weak if you decide you want any sort of medication or help. It means you know yourself and your body. And every labor is different! I think youre doing just the right thing not boxing yourself into a particular birth scenario.
I couldnt agree with you more about an extra little positive reinforcement from the hubby, im emotional as well. And yes if I could rewind I would never get induced, or an epidural! Thats such awesome news your son is back to being a big boy with the potty, cant wait till my son gets to that stage and glad your sons xmas concert went well. My daughter was a pretty cool shepherd, I enjoyed her rocking out to feliz navidad lol.By the way your hair looks great. Jealous your almost 36 weeks!!! :)
awwww i wish i could give you hugs! i know how you feel, i remember feeling that way with pregnancy #1 towards the end, i am still alright now (29 weeks and 3 days), but i know this will be coming too. Gosh sounds like you had a great delivery last time, mine was awful 23 hours of labour, for 20 of those i was only 3cm dilated! hope you can do it again this naturally this time. You look so GORGEOUS OMG. the baking sounds yummy, take care!! xxx
@louloumatou Thanks, Loulou! So nice to hear from friends who have or are going through similar things. I was fortunate with baby #2 in the labour department. I hope your second gives you an easier go than Max!
@redelozier Thanks so much for your input. It's so nice to hear your thoughts on these things. Recovery for me was so much better the second time around and I have to say if I could repeat his labour again I'd do it no issue. I guess it's the normal "fear of the unknown" and not wanting to set myself up to feel like I've failed that I'm prepping for now. Thanks for your kind words :)
I'm only 22 weeks with baby #3, but since my last labor with my 2nd only lasted 9 hrs total (5 hrs intense). Who knows......maybe this one will go ALOT faster :)
75 mins ?!?!?!? You go girl !!! That's awesome.....I only do 30-45 min a day :(
I understand the "postive thoughts" completely !!! I think you'll do just fine with this upcoming birth. I think I already told you that I had a epidural with my first (stalled at 3cm, ended up getting pitocin). However, went ALL natural with my 2nd (my choice). The recovery was SO much better, amazingly BETTER !!! For me, since I had such a bad experience with my first (epidural) I refuse to get another one. I see it as, labors doesn't last forever.....the intensity of it will not kill you :)
congrats, you must be excitedd its coming up soon. i subscribed:) check out my videos sometime if u have a chance:) i had a lil boy in july.
