This is just a workaround, not a fix. I've read somewhere else that it is a hijacking with a rootkit virus. Kaspersky anti-virus has a free rootkit virus removal tool - you'll have to Google search it - TDSS removal tool.

@TorGrimmen I#m not that corrupt, but reinstall the latest version of the browser, (NOT THE BETA) make a new shortcut(right-click > send to > desktop(create shortcut)) and then try the method on the new shortcut( Target: "C/.../chrome.exe" -no-sandbox)

The problem was that My History was too big. I needed to delete my history because it was taking up so much space.

Apparently your videos wont work if you are very close to not having any disk space.
