@deanthemotocrossman um well it didnt look like he shoved it in gear what it actually looked like is he has a trans break and he was releasing it .. most built trucks like this usually have turbo400 transmissions swapped into them and saying that it was 650hp he probably races it so its probably a trans break he was releasing.,, if he built this truck he would not be slamming it into gear like that trust me.. @natep246 want to show u me doing a bad ass burn out whip donuts in my truck like its its job can do a 4 wheel drive burn out. i have proof of all this i can put on u tube i seriously have to let off the gas to get it to hook i did come to find out that my truck is cammed after looking in the motor and mic the came lobes 488 lift both intake and exhaust duration was all over needed new cam damn flat tapped hyd. u know that you can build 700 r4's to with stand up to 800 horse
@deanthemotocrossman need built clutch packs usually 8-10 disc clutch packs not 3- 5 like stock put in built what is called a reverse shell if this breaks truck wont move then either get some servos from a corvettes 700r or buy some for hard shifting then mod the valve body for shift points done alot of messing around on this then get a 3,500 stall converter lock up not non lock up if you want to still drive it that is why you want a 700 r4 all mecanical easy to work with and has 4 gears
it would be on the floor since turbo 400s are a pain to get hooked up through the colum u have to guess the gear becouse they are set up for 4 speed not 3. but just saying i know this truck is bad ass makes mine look like a match box car i might be pushing 250-300 horse but my truck is a 4 wheel drive and weighs 4,000 lbs will do a burn out through all gears rolling brake tourqe what ever

if that snaps truck dont move putting gear to gear 303 in when i put next rear end in yes 3rd 6 bolt rear end truck does 97 in a 1/4 mile i know how my truck runs i know how to build trucks i know Chevy 73 through 87 88-95 95-99 like the back of my hand especially 88-98 im not saying i could be wrong i saw what i saw and how far he moved his hand in cab and no lights on i would assume he went from park to drive trans brakes dont move that far and if its really built
have had it doing 135 mph got that on a vid to speedo is a rainbow gauge goes to 85 then once over 90 grey will show on other side had grey all the way up to 45mph now like i said he might be doing that but from what i see and have seen people do it looks like he is starting in park and going to drive or 1st gear if im wrong i dont care i have seen people do this works for a while if built i very much admire this truck beautiful truck.
@bgilbert03 WOW , that truck is NICE. yeah it was first gear i could hear this. im an engine builder by trade.ive built a few 383's as well, last one was into a 69 chevelle
worst part about truck drag builds, dont have SHIT for traction. hell even with my crewcab silverado i spin like crazy if i just get on it from a dig.
So do I...When I build a 383 for my truck, I want the idle to be just like this one. I've already got some parts bought up, just buying a little at a time.
