i love stacie Joy Orrico!!! She has talent!! && I thinkl she's still a CHristian.. I agree with the people who said that she just talks about life her point of view!! MTV didn't reject her. They actually tried to promote her alot when her "Stacie Orrico" album came out. It was her labels fault as to why she isn't big. They never promoted her and released only 2 singles in the US while worldwide got 4 singles & tons of promo. She was even going into talks with MTV on having her own talkshow.

Im a christian myself. MTV actaully did support what she believed and wanted to promote it through their channel. What's wrong with going on a channel that is all sorts of wrong, and bringing light to it???

I just realized this, but when Stacie sings in the begining "It Could All Be So Simple", I wonder in she got it from Lauryn Hill's "Ex-Factor". Lauryn says the same thing in the begining. I know Stacie is a huge fan of Lauryn's and her fav. song is "Ex-Factor". I wonder if she got inspired. lol

I didn't even know she was still in the music world cause I stopped listening to her for, like, six years. And, when I was listening to her, she had like 2 cds out and then I stopped listening. So, yeah I stumbled upon this by accident. Could somebody fill me in: Is Stacie still in music or not, cause I have no idea.

She's working on her next album. Which should be out next year. You can even look on youtube to her in the studio. Search under Stacie Orrico and Brandon Beal. She is all staring in a musical in a New spin on the the Wizard of Oz call "Oz The Musical" she plays Dorthy as lead. Hope that helps!

I'm a christian and I don't see anything wrong with Stacie's music. You said "remember when stacie was a CHRISTIAN"- singing music like this doesn't make her any less of a christian. I like her christian and secular music but I didn't know she use to sing gospel until not too long ago. I guess the ppl that loved her Christian music are upset that she's not singing it anymore.

People are upset that she's not the 14 year old girl who sang "Christian" music. The girl is now a grown 23 yr old woman. She's not the same 14 yr old girl. Stacie is still a Christian and it does show through her music. She doesn't have to keep repeating Jesus' name in a song to be considered a Christian. Stacie just sings songs that are real life matter whether you're a christian or not!

Totally true. All Miley Cyrus has ever done is be Disney's posterchild as a way of making money and even now retains no talent whatsoever. I mean, I know my voice is horrible, but I'm so glad I don't put it on display. Thankful that I don't even have the channel so I don't have to see her.
