Drummer Glen Kotche's groove is so wonderfully infectious here. I can't see why, even in the rain, so few people in the crowd are moving to the beat. Is everybody simply content with making the scene at the concert of a hip band? Come on, people, stop texting your friends and MOVE YOUR BUTTS!

To those who are asking...no. The crowd could not be any more lame. Unless you see them in Chicago the crowds are almost always lame. Such a tragedy. Of course in this case standing out in the rain and seeing them during the daytime does not help. I doubt I'd be thrilled either, and this is one of my favorite bands. I plan on rocking the F out tomorrow night at the Riv and Fri night at the Metro though. Wilco really does put on a kick ass show when they want to.

The drums actually kick into a pretty cool groove at 0:35 (and whenever the refrain/chorus kicks in). It actually feels like a kind of break beat. More interesting than the studio version.

I'm a drummer, and I wish more songs were about falling in love with drummers, because that would bode well for me.

I love this song - it reminds me of being a teenager going to see bands (even mentions "shiny pants" LOL). What a shame the weather looks lousy in this; I saw them at Coney Island last year - amazing!! I think in this case its the singer I fell in love with....... :)

Crowd looking miserable probably because it was raining. Me, the Heat would probably have to arrest for smiling and even leaping about at a Wilco concert, on a rainy day. Looking forward though to seeing them, under cover next month, somewhere south of the Equator.
