  • I spent some time amoung Orthodox community, many of them are hateful (not all). They dont tolerate Christians but they REALLY hate messianic Jews as they believe that they are Jewish "pretenders" trying to act Jewish and convert Jews into Christianity. To them, its like crusade against Judaism all over again.

They also dont get along with seculars either.

I've also met some Orthodox men and an elderly rabbi who secretly converted to Christianity and keep secret as to not make problem

  • we're praying for ya eddie.

  • I'm not sure but if I recall the "Israelis the Nation" don't actually like these guys either because they claim that Israel has no right to exist. Its hard to discuss these issues because someone always plays the race card.

I don't care what race, any man that harasses or threatens a woman (especially girls) needs a fat lip and a mild concussion. Call me sexist.

  • listen...im jewish....its not the jews its the charadim....i hate their guts...trying to be so pure and holy....their like shit 2 me....and jesus was a ajew so why the hell do the charadim care that there are people that want 2 follow christ?!?!? i just really dont get it

  • This is so bizarre to me.

  • It's bizarre to us too. Why is persecution against the Messiainic Jews and Christians tolerated in Israel, which is supposed to be a democracy with freedom of religion?

  • noooo, this is antisemitic sir..you are wrong..

  • Arrogant statement johnsmdm since you weren't there.

  • Religion is the problem.

  • I agree. That's why we are not "religious". God wants a personal relationship with each one of us. He is not interested in religion either. That's why he sent Messiah Y'shua!

  • i cant stand their nagging voice.

  • Isa, what is it that you do there in Israel, I'm curious?

  • I run a chess club and I try to help people with whatever needs they have no matter whether they are Jew or Arab. I try to please God with my life and glorify Him. If given the opportunity, I share my faith. I try to live peacefully with everyone as much as possible. Pretty simple, really.

  • Thank to God these Zhydy are not in Ukraine! We would kill them.

  • those haridim just discusting, they call themself jews, but they are not, they just kids, doing nothing in their life, looking for fun, plaing games

  • it's like a new extreem cult just like zionism. I belive that the jews breed what they saw. and now they have another problem because of their dehumanizing of people that are not Jewish. Now they have christians changing their religion and jews making jesus God.

  • What????????

  • Isa, I don't live in Jerusalem/Israel. Can you confirm something I heard a long time ago about the bible over there. Is there any truth that bibles especially new testaments are forbidden and that you may be put in jail for as little as handing them out?

  • There is no law against Bibles or handing them out. The orthodox Jews keep telling people it is against the law, because they are trying to pass a law against the Christians. If you come here, feel free to hand out Bibles; this nation needs them! There is a law against witnessing to minors and that carries a fine and a jail term. That is a law the orthodox break every day.

  • Thank you for your clear and prompt answer!

  • i have no idea what it is i just saw. person who made this video please tell me.

  • The YWAM Team was having a prayer service and outside, the orthodox Jews were picketing and making noise to disrupt that service. They even banged on the door. The WYAM Team did not know what was happening, were apprehensive & had to be rescued, so these guys would not assault them.

  • The guys are chanting "Stop stealing Jews and converting them to Christinaity". Exactly good IMO, what they are doing, because you can't go and make up a new religion, and try to "convert" jews to a 'made up' religon! So they are protesting, and they had every right to do that.

  • Protesting is part of a true democracy. However, the orthodox use criminal methods to "protest": picketing another religious place is illegal in Israel. Burning down congregations, beating up people who disagree with you, stalking and harassing women and children, slandering people, make false allegations to the police, vandalizing property, etc. This is criminal persecution and the police are doing nothing: therefore we post the videos. The orthodox have learned well from the Nazis. Sad!

  • OK well so what. I do however understand. But all walks of life do this, illegal or not. It isn't fair to go against the Jews just because you hate them?

Heh. I can walk around and start taking videos of people that go against one another, Jewish or not! Very shameful.

  • We are standing for righteousness. If we hated Jews, we would hate ourselves as we are part of a Community of Jews, all citizens of the Land of Israel. The videos are helping to expose a terrible wrong here in Israel and help make it right. There is nothing shameful about righteousness: it is the very heart of God. This week, an MK submitted a bill in the Knesset to forbid Christian children from attending public schools or other public places like shopping malls. Democracy? Not in Israel!

  • what happened with the bill in the end?

  • The Member who submitted it had to resign - don't know why - so I think the bill died in committee; there has been no word of it since. Praise the Lord!

  • You are treated harshly in Israel because you are attempting to do with from within what Hitler tried to do with gas - destroy the Jewish nation.

Statistics show that Jews who convert and become "completed Jews" lose any semblence of Jewishness within two generations. Most Messianic Jews aren't even born-Jews, anyway.

  • We are the nation of Israel; Jews, Christians, Arabs, etc.! How do you define "Jewishness"? Whose statistics are you quoting? There are a 100 different definitions. Jews come from all cultures & nations: just because completed Jews do not fit into your tiny box of ideals doesn't mean that God isn't pleased with them. Most Messianics I know are great citizens & supporters of the State of Israel. They serve in the army & volunteer their time helping all kinds of people, BUILDING ISRAEL.

  • I use the same definition of Jewishness used by the State of Israel and that's been used by Jewish communities since time immemorial- that is, you're a Jew if you're mother was a Jew or if you formally convert.

Of course you can find plenty of obscure denominations who claim that they are the true "Jews". From Christian Identity to Native Americans to Messianics.

If I wear a turban it doesn't make me an Arab. If a christian celebrates Pessach it doesn't make him a Jew.

  • You don't know your history. "If your mother is a Jew, the baby is a Jew" is a relatively recent ruling by the Rabbis which came from the Middle Ages. For 1000's of years prior to that, it was the father. Blood comes from the father, not a drop from the mother. Ruth, a gentile, was the grandmother of King David. There is a question RE the genealogy of Bathsheba, mother of King Solomon. Both Kings are considered Jewish by God. Return to the original relationship offered by God to the WHOLE WORLD.

  • Matrileneal descent is by no means recent. By most estimates, it was officially adopted during the Second Temple Period during the Roman Occupation as a way to cope with the increasing intermarriages. Although you're right in that there is evidence in the Torah for both patri and matrilineal descent, there needed to be a line drawn somewhere.

By the way, Ruth is considered a convert, not a gentile.

  • 1. Ruth is evidence of God's grace; The Lord said a Moabite may not be accepted into the congregation of the Lord even unto the 10th generation, yet she was accepted. Conversion back then was simply a matter of verbally stating that you are accepting the God of Israel. No Rabbis to express disapproval.

    2. A true genealogy kept in the Temple did not mention women at all. In Luke 3, even Y'shua's genealogy wrote down the name of Mary's father but not her name, in accordance with Priestly rules.

  • 3. The genealogy in Matthew 1 was given to show that Joseph was not the father of Y'shua and it mentioned women's names to stress that fact. Then in verse 18, the account of the virgin birth of Mesiah Y'shua is given. This is the sign to the House of David that was promised in Isaiah 7. Both Mary and Joseph were of the tribe of Judah, but he came from Solomon's line and she came from Natan, also a son of David. Ruth was an ancestor of them both. God's loving grace at work!

  • The genealogy of Jesus in Matthew is meaningless if his father was G-d.

  • It was given to show that Joseph is not the father of Jesus. The term 14 generations is used 3 times. The number 14 spells the name of David. It is emphasizing that Jesus is the promised seed of David who will rule forever. It is a Jewish riddle and the answer to the riddle is given in verse 18: the virgin birth. By the way, Hebrew numbers use Hebrew letters so the numbers sometimes spell names and items, hence 14 = David.

  • In Torah, a person's tribe only comes through the father. Doesn't matter what tribe Mary's father was in. The god of Chistianity has no tribal affiliation.

The man did not fit the Torah-given requirements to be King of Israel. Israel did not choose him for their king, so Christianity should stop trying to interfere by forcing their choice on Jews, (which is more or less what the haredi man in the video was saying).

Don't worry, filmmaker, they wouldn't have anything to do with your women.

  • Jesus was predicted to come by numerous prophets, sanctioned by prophets at the Temple, announced by angelic beings, and approved by God. He came from the tribe of Judah (not through Jeconiah) and fulfilled over 500 prophecies from the Tenach. Neither King Saul nor King David had that much going for them! Your knowledge of Christianity sounds as if it came from an unsaved Rabbi.

Re our women: you don't know the orthodox in Israel!

  • Those who bless you I will bless, those who curse you I will curse.

End of story. Spew your hate all you like, it all ends the same way.

  • We don't hate anyone. We are reporting facts about the persecution of the Messianic community. We are also blessing the needy people in Israel by helping wherever we can with clothes, food, etc. Who are you blessing or cursing?

  • you're operating in Israel and spreading hate against Jews because you know it gets you donations from Christians abroad

I know what you're doing. You know what you're doing. And more importantly G-d knows what you're doing.

    End of story.

  • Beginning of story: To our sorrow, the Jews are acting in a hateful manner and thinking it is lawful to do so because "This is a Jewish state". This is God's territory and He only allows the Jewish People to live in it as long as they behave in a godly manner. If not, the Land will vomit them out - Scripture is clear on that. We are here to bless the Jewish people despite what they are doing to us. Everyone is accountable to God, especially the Jewish People. Messiah Y'shua is returning soon!

  • Behaving in a Godly manner would actually mean expelling all missionaries from the land, so yes Jews are not behaving in a godly manner by tolerating you.

That was probably not what you had in mind though. Instead you're permitted to operate in Israel, and you respond by spreading hate against Jews, putting up videos with names such as "This is why people hate the Jews"

in doing so you demonstrate that indeed tolerance is ungodly and a mistake

  • How sad. Such fear. Treating others in the same way you wish to be treated is the essence of Torah. Love God. Love your neighbor, including the stranger who is in the community. Freedom of religion and Freedom to choose your own spiritual path is part of that respect. Truth does not spread anti-semitism; bigotry does. You are obviously a bigot, but the Lord loves you so Fear not! There is hope for you: His Name is Y'shua, the greatest Jew who ever lived!

  • Actually not doing to another what is hateful to you, is the essence of the Torah. Your failure to understand that leads you to behave hatefully while wrapping yourself in smug self-righteousness.

When you put up videos such as "Why people hate Jews", you show your true nature and agenda.

Those who bless you I shall bless you. Those who curse you, I shall curse.

  • 34 and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: 'Know HaShem'; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith HaShem; for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.

If there is a New testament why do you need to teach me it? Hashem said that that "I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it;" That also means that the New testament wont be a book.

  • When you accept God's Messiah Y'shua, the Holy Spirit gf God moves into your spirit. That makes the Law of Moses inferior to the Higher Spirit which dwells within. We are no longer answerable to the Law of Moses because we have the Law of God written on our hearts. Instant communication with the God of the Universe. Not a religion, but a relationship! A NEW COVENANT at work today: Y'shua in our heart - it works! In the coming kingdom all will know God, but it is available now!

  • Guest? We are citizens in a country that has basic laws that provide for freedom of religion. We are harassed at every turn. Our prayer meetings are disrupted. Our worship services are disrupted. The orthodox do ILLEGAL things to our Christians, and are not held accountable for their actions. If Israel is a Jewish State, it is a racist state. However, if it is a state for Jews AND all the other religions found in it, it is a democracy. Can't have it both ways!

  • Netwolf, I would have approved your comment if you did not use profanity. Keep it clean and post again!

  • But why did they do that? I don't understand!

  • The Haredim harass the believers wherever they find them, especially women and children. In this video they were outside the Christian congregation waiting for 5 young ladies (tourists) to come out and walk home. Eddie went to the house and rescued them. The Haredim do not work - they are paid by the government to study Torah/Talmud and they are paid by the Rabbi to harass the Christians and Messianic Jews. It is ongoing persecution throughout the land of Israel.

  • what is this?

  • Good, then you can also stop taking American money.

  • Stupid Haredim

  • they look scary a bit

  • keep your Idolatry out of Israel (land and people).

  • We worship the One True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- as compared to the Haredim who have forsaken His Commandments in favor of superstitions of red strings, curses and Talmud, and set their Rabbis up as little gods. The Orthodox have forgotten they are to be a LIGHT to the Gentiles. Sad, indeed.

  • Apparently you have know Idea the red string is to make a comment like that. Remember you believe G-D is a man. Your crusades are over. Bye bye and I hope G-D has mercy on you for speaking bad of his children.

  • Truth is truth even when it hurts. Read Isaiah Chapter 1 to see what GOD thinks of Israel. He is still inviting Israel to return to Him and then He will make peace with her enemies. I don't believe God is a man. He is Deity and deserves to be worshipped and obeyed. Put away your prayer books, read the Tenach (Not Talmud) and LISTEN with your heart to what GOD says. He wants a personal relationship with you, not a set of rules, because HE LOVES YOU!

  • Why should I stray away from the teachings of Moses, It was Hashem who commanded him to teach us. Hashem wants us to not give in to the gentiles, kinda like what your trying to do to me. Crusades are over bud give it up your better off talking to a cross.

  • Y'shua was the only one who could follow the Spirit of the Law of Moses. He is God's Messiah. To follow Him is to follow God. He is the prophet that MOses said to obey because He can forgive your sins. That's the essence of Torah.

  • I have one word for this , its called "blasphemy" And please don't refer to your religion as Torah. I have no problem with Christianity or with christens but when you come here and try to contaminate Jews I take it very seriously. You should go to Saudi Arabia and try to preach this stuff and then Get back with me and tell me if you still think Charidim are fanatics.

  • Honestly, Ask the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob what He thinks of Y'shua. Listen carefully for His answer. Then you get back to me. May the Lord answer you in an unusual way!

  • Yes , The Blessed Be He Tells us that you are wrong. All over in the Torah The Blessed Be he tells us not to listen to the Gentiles. You in Israel is not any different when The Blessed Be He tested us with the Moabit,Assyrian ,Romans and ETC. We are forbidden to practice anything other nations practice. There is no such thing as a new testament, There is only One.

  • Jeremiah 31:31-32 The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. 32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them," declares the LORD.
  • First of all this is not 31:31-32 its 31:31-31:34. Try actually reading till 32 and you will see that it says. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith HaShem, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their G-d, and they shall be My people.

  • So when all the christen crusaders murdered thousands of Jews this was in the new testament that was engraved in their hearts? I believed Hashem said that the testament well be given to the house of Israel and the house of Judah. So this means if a Gentile claims he has this testament then he or she is false. Dont underestimate Hashem, You well see when the real New testament comes how grate it well be. By the way the Messiah is clearly not born from a virgin, "Alma" means Young women. More?

  • 1. Christian Crusaders is an oxymoron. Just because a mouse is in a cookie jar does not make him a cookie. Evil leaders have led people astray all down through history & they always seem to find willing or gullible people. It is the same thing that the orthodox are doing in Israel today -leading their people astray & persecuting others. In the future, all Israel will believe and will have the new testament of Jer. 31 written in their hearts, but it is available NOW to any individual who asks.

  • 2.Alma is the word for a chaste (pure) young woman, unmarried or married, without children. The word betulah (virgin)was only used of unmarried women, so that would not be suitable here. When the Rabbis translated the T'nach into Greek (Called the Septuagint) they had no trouble choosing the Greek word "Parthenos" which means virgin. The verse in Isaiah 7 was talking about the coming Messiah; a sign to the House of David. What kind of sign is a woman birthing a baby in an ordinary way?

  • Some (SOME!) jews don't want our faith in Israel, but they surely love our dollars, weapons and soldiers. Get real for once!

  • wow

  • I love YWAM! Type in 'YWAM' and do a youtube search! Check them out! See what they do! Wow!
