I can confirm that this isn't a legit tool-assisted speedrun.

2:51 + 2:58 - Player runs directly through enemy fire, the spacing between the enemy's projectiles is too slim to avoid being hit.

3:53 - Direct hit from Boss' laser attack doesn't kill/gib player.

There are many instances where this occurs, but its asinine to list them all.

It's very possible that glitches were used, as well as extreme knowledge of the hitboxes of said projectiles. I'd talk with the runner to confirm.

It does indeed look like he's taking hits and walking over mines, TAS' are meant to break things like 1-frame window opportunities. While.

Most TAS' born are for it's visual-aesthetics as well as fastest time. I'm sure it took the author a lot of observation to complete something like this and with a rerecord count of 32k plus I'm sure this could very well be a legit run.

As for the two player thing, 1 player controlling 2 characters has been around for a long time and is acceptable for TAS'.
