while I like tomoyo, kyou, kagami, I also like the current top characters. they are all "dere" types.

for example, mikoto, mio, hinagiku, haruhi are typical "tsundere" as same as kyou and kagami.

shana, tomoyo, and kuroneko are also kinda tsundere including "cool" character.

kanade, nagato, and so on are "cooldere(which is "cool" + "dere")" type that means they normally are cool but sometimes show their shame quietly.

nagisa is completely opposite type who is pure and does not show "dere."

I am proud of tomoyo and kyou who have showed popularity of clannad for a long time. they have been chosen on top 16 in consecutive 3 years, and they are still popular.

in this year, it might be difficult for them to be included on top 16, but I think it is time for them to take a rest. tomoyo, kyou, and kagami really did wonderful jobs.

though nagisa also would not have any chance to be chosen because the current top members are too strong to beat, I hope she would be someday as her fan.

If I knew about this beforehand, I would have chosen either Nagato Yuki, or Sakagami Tomoyo. It's just too hard to decide, they're both epicly awesome in their own ways. Yuki's like the one who's fighting to express her emotions, while Tomoyo's the one who's fighting to achieve a life goal with all her might. They're also kick-ass when it comes to fighting (though Yuki pwns way more than Tomoyo there). All and all, it remains a draw between the two.

I get that all the time. :D The interesting thing is that using this song for the 2010 DE PV was decided in October of 2009. At that time, I didn't even know if Mikoto would be in DE of 2010. (In fact, Index/Mikoto were did quite badly in 2009.) I did realize later that using this song might be a nod to Mikoto, but I had the entire PV in mind and didn't want to change the song.
