So now that the compatibilty/OS issues are taken care of, it's just like using a PC--you've got a keyboard and a screen...Basically all you need.

ok... well yeah... i figured out how to get pass that with" cpus=1" but it leaves me in a loop at the info transfer screen... i have restarted my computer and used the cpus thing but it still loops the info... ive tried searching online but whatever they say just gets my computers boot in a loop... so i have to deal with a boot loop amd the info loop!!! :( help

Ya geeks need the newest.. "iAtkos S3" is as closes to vanilla Snow Leopard! If you have a dual Intel processor computer than I really suggest u download either Empire EFI, Rebel EFI or my favorite ' Pirate EFI-X' bootloaders... These bootloarders are the most easiest and most accurate programs to install a real retail Snow Leopard on any Intel dual Pentium, Core 2 Duo or above! I have an Asus G2S Gaming Laptop with Win 7 Ultimate/ Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.4 x64 fully functional and bad ass!

Here is a problem i ran into... I downloaded theiATKOS v1.0i and when i was trying to put in on my DVD. File is corrupt, when i try to open the file with winrar, winrar says its corrupt. sorry i just woke up and my comment is really horrible. Do i really have to have a dual boot process, im running win7 on my toshiba laptop but i dont care if i have win7 i just want mac to work .plz help!

it has to be installed on it`s own partition or its own harddrive so, yes you have to format.

you need to make a new partition in the WINDOWS partition editor. then you need to boot into the mac installer from the disk, and then go to disk utility and format the new partition you just made to a Mac OS X extended (journled). then you install mac in the new partition you just made, and if you want to boot into windows, press any button at the boot loader, then click on your windows partition. then windows should boot up just fine. if you want mac, dont press anything at the bootloader.
