I am a 36 y old German. My Stepdad was an US Army Soldier. I was living in the US 2 Years. I teached myself THE Hystory. If i had the Power... All u Veterans would not be Veterans.... I cant tell how much i thank and love you guys for what u did for us!!!!
Yes I did, These were part of a larger project I worked on, three of the videos here and hours of raw footage. Unfortunately the raw footage has been lost, but these still live thanks to you tube. :)
My biggest challenge was to get these older gentleman actually talking, they want to tell their stories but they don't want to do it in a "wrong" way. So be patient, I was with a group of about 15 men and it took me about 6 hours to get enough usable footage. Once they start talking and feeling comfortable they have a lot to say.
