First of all Angus Young and Slash have put together some great sounding music, so just because you prefer shredding guitarists does not mean you have to hate everyone who doesnt play in that style. That being said, from a technical standpoint, Rusty Cooley rocks the socks off of pretty much everyone out there. He is a truly awesome and inspiring guitarist and I'm glad Outworld is in the world today.

I choose not to play like this for many reasons.If you've heard one sweep arpeggio, you've heard them all.Tell me what the difference is between one sweep arpeggio or another (and don't say scales/chords). If three different guitar players played high c on the guitar (with a clean tone, not the overprocessed sound that shredders use which covers up the sound of the guitar). It would sound different each time (or atleast it could be made to sound different as each guitar player could approach it differently). If three different guitar players played the same sweep arpeggio. They would all sound the same. I've yet to hear a guitar player make a sweep arpeggio personal, unique, his own.
