@theworacle What you need is a Kuznetsov NK-12 countra-rotationg propeller. That powerplan was design in the 50 by the former USSR (14800 shp). It was built in large number. Also, you should avoid the complication of a folding wing.
@ricardovelero The Russian aircraft are often flawed by design. It's what happens when you try to steal intellectual property without understanding it. Look at the the Tu-144 with its stupid canards.
I understand the advantage of having wings--they generate lift with better efficiency at high speed. But what's the advantage of folding them at low speed? Seems to me it would just create more weight and complexity for no advantage.

The wings are folded so they won't interfere with the lift of the main rotors. It's a problem in helicopters like the Mil Mi-24.
