yes you are right. fear of technology is common. they should try to understand and trust the honest customers more. that is why drm is bad. they kick you in the butt for being honest. pirates get to own their things. but if I buy it I don't. that is why I am getting frustrated. don't get me wrong. I love the device! It's awesome. But I am aware of the terms before I buy things.

Honesty should be better then free. Buying should be better then pirating. DRM is feeding piracy. understand now?

the kindle is so overhyped. Look at other ebook readers. they are better! ;) or wait for new ones which are better.

the bad thing is that it is very restrictive in formats. the contrast is not one of the best if you compare to other e-ink ebook devices.

I will not buy a DRM restricted device. I don't want to long term lease my books. I want to be able to have my books for the rest of my life without risking that they delete my books remotely or modify the content. I WANT TO OWN! OWN MY BOOKS! It's like having a lock without a key. The kindle swindle. Great device but read the terms before you buy! ;)

Fear of technology is common - a lot of people said the same thing about their cd's and tapes and how the ipod just wouldnt work... go back to your horse and buggy - it's gas less and more your speed.
