Both bands have talent. Phish uses more aspects of music that i adhere to, such as a lot of improvisation and long composed, classical-esque sections.

And that you can't beat that chemistry. They have an unmatched ability to compliment each other and seem as if they are in each others heads

Phish just use electric guitar effects and play high up on the neck and pretend that they're really feeling what they're playing when its a load of crap.. tim reynolds is more talented.. and dave's acoustic guitar playing is amazing.. listen to "The Stone" for some real music
