  • the guy from pod sounds abit like Corey Taylor

  • does anyone know if this can be used in pre recorded guitars (recorded straight via mixerboard, so no eq's or distortion) in cubase?

  • @Mappos I dont know much about cubase, however I believe that if buy the VST effect version of this, you can put it on any guitar track that you would like. So I am pretty sure the answer is yes.

  • What he said about not having a line 6 interface to use it isnt true...i cant get it to work

  • @ipnutt22 True, I bought the Toneport UX 8 and it came with pod farm, but I did try to use it with my XPsound interface and it wouldn't work. There's no selection for anything but line 6 interfaces in the selection box

  • do you have to have another amp or anything to use this.

  • @codyjt5150 you need an audio interface

  • why does Line 6 POD Farm Require iLok? i read it on amazon...

    im really confused :S

ive got the software but i need the thing to plug my guitar to the computer.

what do/can i use for this...?

    please help

  • @RobbieBarnby guitarport

  • With this software I have no idea why anyone would ever buy pedals again, or even another effects processor. This is so ingenuious.

  • its free if you get a POD

  • hey can someone help me i have the pod farm and its set up but i cant get any sound at all plz help

  • i would love a crack for this software :(

  • @prophets77 it's not gonna work unless, you have a line 6 poduct that supports this. haha for you:)

  • @imbogfootstrato yeah i kinda do, i have line 6 GX so erm, haha for me?

  • is this for free???

  • @Alonzito23 no its not free

  • Hey!

Check out my profile please to hear a song I've recorded via pod farm , its called "The MentaL".

    Thanks.

    Dan

  • i have this, not the platium but, yeah. its pretty good but theres hardly anything good on it haha but im sure the platium is good tho

  • man i'm definaltly gonna buy the ux1 with this, riffworks, and fx junkie

  • What's the difference between the POD Studio line and POD?

  • i have a problem

when i start pod farm it says in the bodem

'no authorized device connected pod farm can not process audio'

does anyone know how to fix this?

    sorry for bad english

    thank you

  • you need to have line 6 preamp

  • preamp?

if you mean a toneport i do i have the ux-2

but now the authorized thingy is gone but

it's cracking all over the place when i play guitar &

when i put in the condensor it doesn't do anything anymore, except cracking (ps i pressed the 48V button)

again sorry for the english , help would be greatly appreciated!

    thank you

  • mine keeps on making a clicking noise but it's realy loud when i connect my lead to it whats wrong can some 1 tell me

  • o'rite.. i got this new toy but got problem since it has a beta drive for snow leo.. : (

  • is it worth buying pod farm just to play around with sounds, because i dont realy do any recording?

  • Yes. i find myself playing guitar much much more often now that I have it. Well I bought a UX1 with it. But it's just very fun to use and can give great sounds at low volumes.

  • Either he needs some sleep or he's sleeping too much

  • His face or his mannerisms ?

  • His face, his eyes in paticular. The puffing around his eyes and the eyes themselves. When he blinks it looks like his eyes dont want to open again.

  • whats the difference with post amp and pre amp?

  • Pre-amp is the electrical signal from the pick-ups to the instrument cable that you can change with effects that affect the signal before it reaches the actual power/post-amp section (The sound that you actually hear coming out of the amp) While post amp is the power section that physically creates the sound you hear so you can edit that as well. Hope that helps. :)

  • The guy with the guitar looks really tired.

  • Yeah, i'd say he uses rogaine. Lol. His face is puffy and he has bags under his eyes.

  • hey could u guys stop fighting like pre schoolers god.. s= o

  • does the sound come out of the computer speakers?

  • Comment removed

  • whichever output you choose. It may be headphones, speakers, monitors and so forth

  • any /rs/ for this?

  • pretty sure you need the line6 hardware or one of those bullshit ilok things, you could try torrenting it, but i don't think there's a working crack

  • Someone please send me a message of how I can get the best settings with my pod!

  • i have pod farm. I just wondered how do u open it up as a plug in in tools?

  • You Go Into Your Mix Window, Click The Plug Ins Selection At The Top If U Go Down Into The Other Selection You'll See Pod Farm

  • Where I can download it, I need it but I can't buy it in my country Anybody know a website to find it.. Thanks

  • i love the stingray one of the best tubes ever made

  • I own a line 6 UX2, and honestly I do not like the tone I get, even though pod farm interface is an improvement over Gearbox, . I just can't get used to that Line 6 sound. Guitar Rig 3 is an improvement sound wise IMO, but you just can't beat the sound of an actual amp.

At least you can use the UX2 to mic an amp.

It's good for people just starting out creating their own music because it has tones for guitar, bass, and vocals.

That's about the only good thing I can say about this.

  • Do you need ilok to install pod farm?

  • Not for the basic version, but you do for the platinum version.

  • Line 6 is awsome i own a line 6 spider valve112 and it's just awsome. the tone, effects everything and yes there are other good brands and i think you can't compare brands with each other because they both always have pros and cons. Eventually it's what you like the best

  • no they dont ur just mad u cant support line 6 by being able to afford there products

  • 1 cheap peices of shit?!?!?!

look at ur icon for crying out loud!

2 i support line 6 in every way!

    i bought i fucking Spider III 75W

    75W!!!!!!

    t(O.o)t fuck you

  • wow ur kidding right, spider 75 watt/? thats like 300 bucks.

and if u support spider in everyway, why are you trying to get it for free.

and finally, because its my goal as a youtube video tutorialist to answer everybodys question, look up torrents to get it for free, thats all the more im going to say

  • yes i do dick wad

  • wow, way to spell Mormon wrong u stupid cunttard

and wat the fuck kind of a burn is Mormon anyway, stupid fuck, i hope you get cock slaughtered by your great grandma

  • hey dick hole it says MORMIN learnn how to read shitty assed bitch

  • OMG YOU ARE SO FUCKING RETARDED

its spelled mormon u stupid FUCK

my god ur just a fucking undergraduate dick sucking cunt

  • can you tune with it?

  • yes

  • thanx i was wondering i just got it AWOSME program amazing ehat it has! Take care

  • anyone know where to get this for free?

  • How do you get the sound out of your amp

    or speakers like he's doing?

  • you need a USB or Firewire audio interface... i use the Line 6 Toneport UX8 on stage.. i plug my guitar into it (1/4") then the Ux8 is plugged into my mac via USB 2.0.. then i have the output on the ux8 go to the amp/PA.. open pod farm, set your sounds.. boom.. your done.. if your just running 1 instrument, I would suggest getting the M-Audio Fast track or fast track Pro as your audio interface

  • funny that he is using a MBOX audio interface (white/blue thing besides the monitor)...instead of a toneport...

  • Yeah you can download the software onto an ilok device and use in pro tools without the toneport. Weird but its pretty kewl.

  • Sniffing problem that PR ?

  • JAmmYYY, yes you can.

  • guitar rig cant be outdone.... yet

  • thats why line6 has been used in studios, and not guitar rig....

  • i mean softwre, line6 has great products but in guitar software guitar rig is the best by far (right now)

  • I bought my Toneport UX2 1 year ago and have been using Gearbox til just recently. Podfarm is by far much simpler and more easy to set up. Plus the fact that it sound better aswell.. :P

  • I just bought a ux 1 and i connect everything right.

as soon as i connect de usb cable, my computer gous out of sound. anyone help?

  • you gotta plug headphones in or monitors

  • im looking into getting something like this, but im confused. why can you use headphones but not speakers? also, you can play through the computer speakers after you've recorded it, right?

  • you can use your speakers just use a guitar cable and buy a plugin it costs like 2 euro's here

and then the sound comes directly from your speakers

hope this helped sorry for the englisch

  • Hello, i'm going to buy a Line 6 Tuneport GX tomorrow.. Do i get this program when i buy the Tuneport?

  • nope you get gearbox but you can download this for free from the line6 site!

  • I use the POD Farm with a cabinet impulse rather than the POD Farm's built in cab emulator and it sounds WAY better. Very cool program. I definitely recommend it. You can pretty much come up with whatever tone you want - even AFTER you record, which is fantastic.

  • I would stick with Guitar Rig.

  • I dunno... guitar rig sounds funny to me... but worse than that damn amplitube.....CPU killer...i love the podfarm.. everyone has a fav. i guess :)

  • Surprisingly Guitar Rig 2 sounds better to me than 3. The distortion in 3 is really rich and full.. but the cleans sound great in GR2.

But yeah, everyone has their preference. What matters is, if you can enjoy the sound coming out of it, then you can make great music with it. :)

  • Can you use the same pedal in two seperate channels at once? For example could I run a a fuzz face in each channel? One going to a fender, and the other to a marshall?

  • if u can get pod farm to work in my cubase4 then i will sock your cluck you glay twot sorry im plissed

  • I downloaded the programs on line6 website, now i need the USB device, they sell it for 50 euro's at the local music store :D

  • you can combine them, but pod farm is better

  • is pod farm like gearbox but its better?

  • this feg looks gay and, the review suck... final user ...

  • Just updated from my Line 6 Gearbox to POD Farm... ( FOR FREE!) its such a wonderfull interface and such smooth operation..so much nicer than line 6s gearbox...sounds like spam but its not

  • wat a terrible review

  • what would be best?

to have pod farm or pod x3?

  • Here's a thought:

Save $700 dollars, even if it seems much, work hard for a month of 2, and buy the upcoming pod x3 pro (rack mound)

its like having 2 pod xt pro (or bass pod xt pro), a ux2 recording device and pod farm platinum plug in (all the amps, cabinets, effects guitar-bass-vocals) plus all the inputs and outputs U need... in one device.

I think the next step for line 6 is putting a a coffee machine on these stuff or something :)

they've done some seriously great work this year...

  • whats is the requirements so that i can use this software????

please reply me me asap as you read this comment please???

  • Hey dude ! Line6 GearBox or Pod Farm runs with MAC OS (tiger or leopard), or Windows (XP SP2 and Vista), hardware minimum requirements are - 512m ram, 1gb free space hd, pentium 4 1.2ghz processor). I believe that the standalone software version runs only with line6 audio hardware installed (suchs toneport), and the plugin version should run with any audio hardware and audio software (anyone can confirm for us)? I apologize my poor english language ok ! Cheers, Antunes

  • oh man i cant wait to buy this... can you record straight from this program?

  • yeah, i thought it comes with fx junkie, ableton, and reason software for recording.

i can wait to get mine.

  • It won't come with reason, seeing as that standalone is £300ish, plus you can't record audio with it.

  • 'Tis very cool. dammit now i gotta save up again. i like the sales dude, no loud monster-truck-style sales pitches. when he said it's compatible w/any L6 audio interface, does that mean EVERY interface-like as in the pocketpod? or does it gotta be the X3 series? i also have the ux2 i trust it'll be compatible. anyways good to see L6 is listening and responding

  • do you have the gearbox plugin ? i've red that the owners of the gearbox plugin will be able to get it for free. so at least it means it works with the toneport (i'm myself using a ux2)

but anyway even without it it doesn't really makes a difference, the best thing is the look here, even if the new rig system is a good improvement

  • very cool
