I don't believe it... I watched this when I was 12 years old and without actually trying, my entire family has somehow become this family, dog and all, to a T! Especially the daughter, and me, and the Mom, and the brother... Unreal.

Written/directed by Brad Bird, his 1st project out of CalArts, & the only animated episode of Spielberg's anthology series "Amazing Stories." I've got it on..Beta, somewhere!

Brad went on to direct his 1st feature in '99, "The Iron Giant," another classic that Warner Bros. didn't know how to market. Then did his 1st Pixar feature, "The Incredibles," followed by another for Pixar, "Ratatouille."

His latest: Mission Impossible 2011, his first live-action film.
