  • Assess should be part of ACT not check. Probably assessing is about SIP. Please verify.

  • Just like PDCA is the fulcrum of entire PMI based project management and ITSM based on ITIL v3. Change management, baseline assessments during Check, & benchmarking of baselines during Plan are the corner stones of QA.

    Do you agree with me?

  • I think the QA block refers to the fact that we keep updating the baseline in ACT for benchmarking, after we Check the performance.

Baseline updates become part of PLAN

Am I right in my understanding.

Also, is SIP part of the service level reporting?

Service level reporting part of ACT

Is current state assessment part of CHECK?

Is Service level requirements, targets also part of PLAN?

Service level target is part of service level agreement, so targets are also part of PLAN?

    Please verify

  • Marco, For CSI, where do we identify the objectives, scope and requirements in the PDCA, and where do we allocate the roles and responsibilities in order to work on the initiatives of CSI?

I think we identify the objectives, scope and requirements in PLAN, and based on the requirements we have identified we allocate roles and responsibilities during the DO. Please verify my understanding. Thanks for all your timely responses.

I got confused because you mentioned roles and responsibility in PLAN

  • Hi Marco,

may be a bit irrelevant ... are the following topics included in v3 foundation exam

Service V Model Stability versus Responsiveness

 Explain the balance between Quality of Service versus Cost of Service

 Explain the balance between Reactive versus Proactive focus

I see in the syllabus there is a gap between 04-4 and to 04-8

    Thanks in advance,

  • Hey there.

Thank you so much for your videos.

I'm applying for a CSI job and these are really helpful.

    Many thanks

  • @TeamDraven No problem! I think CSI managers will become in very high demand over the next couple of years, so I believe your applying for the right job!

  • @IsleBeeBach Well it worked. I got the job. :-) Better learn what to do now!

  • @TeamDraven Congratulations! Keep me posted on your exact role-specs if you want - I'm curious to know how aligned your role is with the one described by the ITIL Deities :-) Go and change the world - now you can!

  • There is a continuity from the five fonctions of Fayol POCCC (1916) in French" Planifier ou Prévoir, Organiser, Commander , Coordonner, Contrôler" to the wheel of Deming "Plan-Do-Act-Check", but the French system is adapted from Deming PDAC Plan Do Act Check give our PODC "Planifier -Organiser-Diriger-Contrôler".

    Awesome explanation.Thank you.

  • @teddythefrency Somehow everything in French seems to sound better :-) Thanks for the positive feedback, that's really appreciated.

  • Awesome, do more...do more!!!!!
