its only funny when you know the dance dads up there, my company did that one year and it was funny, but that was because we knew all of the guys and how hard they work for their girls.
what makes comedy exist as a hilarious artform is dedication to being serious about it. you the guys in it would have been serious, it would have been funny. to me, it was just another goofball attempt at trying to be funny...didn't work though.

I think it's not intended as an insult. Didn't you hear the crowd. Clearly a ballet crowd. They applauded technique as well a humor.
