I watched this show every day when I got home from kindergarten! I had forgotten the title of it until today when I was going through a list of old Canadian kids tv shows. Thank you for posting this video!!
Yah me too, 23 now, used to watch take part, and the rest of the Lois Walker shows like Tell-a-tale Town all the time. I miss goood quality TV like this for kids... Sigh.
I remember this! I was trying to find out the title of this show just tonight and when I did, I came right to YouTube to see if there were clips. Weird how this is an episode I remember! hahaha Thanks for posting this!
Hey Inspireme - you inspire me! I am so very happy to read your comment! When we recorded the song on a dreary, rainy morning in Vancouver ten years ago we didn't know if anyone would watch it someday - let alone remember it when they had grown up! From the royalty checks, we know this episode was played repeatedly for a few years and in several cites across Canada. You must have seen it when you were 6 - 9 years old? What city were you watching it in?? - kc
I live in Oakville, Ontario right now, but I was born and raised in Etobicoke. I'm sixteen now, so yeah, I was approximately 6-9 when I watched "Tell-a-Tale Town." I watched that and "Take Part" (also with Lois Walker) on YTV. They were such great shows to learn from and I remember this episode fondly, mostly because I felt so compelled to play all those instruments just like you guys did! Thanks for those great memories!
If anyone has more clips of Tell A Tale Town please post it!

*sigh* It's amazing how a simple childhood memory can cause so much melancholia and longing.
