This video is misleading. These rabbits are ready for transport and are not being filmed the way they would be as they are being raised. If they were actually raised in this way, you would see that the pelts on these rabbits would be stained with fecal matter and urine from the rabbits above them. Look closely. The coats of these rabbits clearly show they have been adequately taken care of. Unhealthy animals, do not have pelts that looks this good.
This isn't about not eating meat, it's about the inhumane way these animals are forced to live.
I own a pet rabbit and I'm not agaisnt eating rabbits or any other common meats (in Europe rabit meat is common), I am however against the inhumane way in which these animals live and are killed. If the animals I was going to eat had a decent life and a quick painless death I would have no problem in eating them. I'd feel sorry if I thought about it though.

Even in US, a first world country, children go hungry. To these people, it seems the life of an animal is more valuable than a human life. I have no problem with killing the rabbits (though i am a huge rabbit lover) as long as you use them for food and they are treated right up to and including their deaths this right here is awful. those poor things are born to suffer and then they die to fill our stomachs. death is probably a blessing to them because there's no other way out

I've been around rabbits since childhood... If rabbits are treated like puppies and kittens they develop high levels of learning and intelligence... If you keep a puppy or kitten in a cage outside and never allow it to "learn" or be socialilzed... then neither would they learn, or be their own individual personalities. This video is misleading. These rabbits are ready for transport and are not being filmed the way they would be as they are being raised. If they were actually raised in this way, you would see that the pelts on these rabbits would be stained with fecal matter and urine from the rabbits above them. Look closely. The coats of these rabbits clearly show they have been adequately taken care of. Unhealthy animals, do not have pelts that looks this good.

This isn't about not eating meat, it's about the inhumane way these animals are forced to live.
I own a pet rabbit and I'm not agaisnt eating rabbits or any other common meats (in Europe rabit meat is common), I am however against the inhumane way in which these animals live and are killed. If the animals I was going to eat had a decent life and a quick painless death I would have no problem in eating them. I'd feel sorry if I thought about it though.
