so is this intended to be used primarily for a local intranet with the outside features there to prevent the need to install other third party IM clients?

Yes indeed they are ALL there, but the video telephony I think is new. I'm wondering if there is a video for Sametime on Blackberry available I'd like to see half of these features incl Voip working on a BB 8320/8120 :D ;)
