I have a guinea pig (I've always had guinea pigs) and Oreo was my 2nd bunny. One thing I've noticed in all of them is that they don't like being lifted. They're OK once you hold them against you because they feel safe when they're held securely against you. But no matter how much they trust you, and how long you've had them, they never get over the dislike of being lifted. And they're afraid of heights too if they don't feel secure. That's what I was thinking =)

yea, i know, lol, i got tofind out the hard way, my cosen dustin has a black and white bunny and i got to hold it and it just went right off me and scrached up all of my lift arm, lololol

Yep. They'll do that. But there's a way to prevent it. All you have to do is place a towel or something like that over their heads to cover their eyes. Then they'll let you lift them. It's all about what they see. If they don't see what's going on, they don't react =)

Nalts e-mailed me and said it was at the top of the mobile download list. I have no idea how that works. And actually, I have 2 cats, 1 rabbit and 1 guinea pig :) The cats and the bunny get along fine. The rabbits almost as big as they are, and the cats are declawed.

My bunny is very secure. We have two cats and they both love her. As with most bunnies, she doesn't like loud noises. And the only reason she was so docile in this video is because she doesn't come into my office very often. She was a little unsure of her surroundings, so she didn't have as much rabbitude! :P

awee oreo is such a good bunny = ) my ellie would be trying to escape out of the sink *like she does when i have to give her a butt bath... she hates being picked up... and would definitely not sit on my lap for a brushing = ) ur very lucky = ) but, i my ellie's wild free spirit and wouldn't give that up for anything =)

Oreo used to be more difficult. But I let her know she was not going to win the power struggles and now she cooperates a little bit more. Plus, she's at least 6 years old, so she's a lot more mellow.

Aww she's so cute! Do rabbits make good pets? Are they easy to take care of? My guinea pig just died and I've been really upset, I miss him a lot. I still have my snake which I love but I need something to hold and pet too lol, so I've been thinking of maybe getting a rabbit. I've never had one though, I'm used to guinea pigs and hamsters so I was wondering if rabbits might be harder to take care of.

She runs around on our pool deck all day, and has a huge hutch she gets into at night. She really doesn't need the hutch, but when she gets to roam too freely all the time, we end up with a power struggle. I'm SO not joking! I filmed her area last night and was going to include it in this video, but I wanted to keep it short. So maybe there'll be a part 2.
