Hi there! To answer your question, the JSFA only does fireground operations training. The cadets get their EMT training in their own. Most of them, at the time they were in the academy, had taken their CPAT tests or had EMT certs. Others who were working for private ambulance services had full Paramedic licenses.

Hey WestlakeSig, do the firefighters get medical training also? or do they have to take EMT classes?
