I'm planning to go there in summer... it seems to be a nice place in Kyoto. I would also like to take the Philosopher's Path from Kinkaku-ji to Nanzen-ji.

I tried to lift the Priest's staff. The little one was easy... but the big one felt like it was bolted to the ground or something. I'm a pretty big guy, so everyone was watching me to see if I could do it... but I failed. :( I walked away with my head hanging in shame....

Wow! This video was taken on January 4th, 2009? I was there that day with my wife & her parents. Kiyomizu is my favorite place in Kyoto.

Thank you. Yes, I took this video at 4:00-5:30 p.m. on January 4th, 2009.

Maybe we passed each other on Kiyomizu-zaka or Kiyomizu-dera, by any chance. It's kind of weird. (^-^)

If you have a chance to come to Japan, I recommend tour in early April or in late November. Especially, cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are so beautiful.

Kyoto is so beautiful.That's the way I was imagining Japan, before I meet you. I mean I thought, that all the city in Japan was like Kyoto. Here, we use to saw more pictures like that, then so many building side by side.

You should be so proud to be born in Kyoto.

Kyoto is the most scenic and quaint districts. But Nara located south of Kyoto is also attractive. Many temples in Nara are older than the temple in Kyoto. Osaka has flourished as a town of trade and is formless. it is so interesting.
