  • but can he snatch 200 lbs? thought so

  • Bullshit that's not 1100 that's 500

  • every tire flip i see is without the rim i want to see a tire flip with a rim

  • good technique.

  • that a 500lb tire...

  • any idea where to get tires like this? i've been looking everywhere and no one has any...

  • @cyspy We get all of ours at tire disposal places. They are glad to get rid of them, then they don't have to haul them away.

  • @cyspy Talk to like a farmer with effin huge gear, let him know you need a tire and you are willing to pay for an old one. If he has none at the time (he probably wont) let him know to keep you in mind when his tires get dead. :P

  • Great work. how strong and how well rounded do you think someone would become if all they did was practice flipping tires in a progressive manner??

  • The tire is a 29.5-25, and the tire catalog we looked at in the tire shop said it weighed 1087lbs. When it was placed on a truck scale it said 1109, so we just called 1100. Travis is 6'2" and you can see how tall the tire is compared to him when it flips over. Next time I get a new tire Ill make sure I upload video of the tire on a truck scale and provide a sworn affidavit from the tire shop guy. Dipshits.

  • @ClayEdgin thats incredible. i have read about how this is building real useable power but how hard is it on your body?

  • With the way you're just barely getting it and struggling, you're going to blow a disc.

He's going way beyond his threshold like an idiot. Reps and extra reps should never be exerting because if you are struggling, you are exerting and it shows your body is not conditioned for such a stress level.

But sure, ignore me and blow a disc.

  • OF COURSE IM A LEVEL 2 STRENGTH TRAINER. I CAN TELL YOU HOW THIS MOVEMENT RUNS THROUGH A PERSONS KINETIC CHAIN.

  • EHH PROBABLY JUST A 500

  • @strengthfreak87 you dont know shit do you

  • Thats def not 1100lbs. somewhere between 400 and 600

Look up derek poundstone flipping the 900 and you'll see the BIG difference

  • @strengthfreak87 you doont know what your talking about!?

  • thats 600

  • 1100 pound tire flip is equal to a 600 pound squat!

  • How much does an 1100 pound tire cost?

  • @BCPowerman

in england it costs 1100 pounds..

  • 1100 POUNDS OR NOT, THAT IS ONE STRONG SOB! GREAT TRAINING

  • wow

  • Wow people; really? I've seen a huge tire, the same size as my 860, that was only 400 lbs. The 1100 at my gym is only a tad bigger than the 860. We've personally weighed them all.

  • Holy crap, that dude must extra extra stong.

  • lokks like about a 600 not 1100

  • itj not an 1100 lb tire, i have seen thos in many different stronngman contests, and this one is not even nearly as big as they are.

+ the other tiers anr much ``stiffer``

  • They are not 1100 lbs. Its just a tractor tire thats how you move them around on the floor like when you change them. Get 2 people and tip it ypu can walk it around.

  • How did you get the tire to 1100 pounds? I have a tire almost that size and I doubt it goes more than 150. Even 600.....did you add weights?

  • this isn't why we invented the wheel D:

  • 600# tire

  • see when lifting heavy objects like this, be sure to bend your back and lift in a twisting motion. leave your legs totally out of the equation. you'll get great results

  • this is a 600 pound tire

  • @ 0:37 he did shit in his pants! great job!

  • you can get exact weights of the manufacturers web-site. just find what type of tire it is and find it on their list. BF Goodwrench, Michelin..etc.. all have pdf files to download. Also don't forget to subtract for wear and tear. I have about an 800 at the house and it's a beast. came off a dozer....good vid btw

  • how much do you have to dead lift and squat to flip a tire that big

  • that doesnt matter, thats a complete different game with a tire

  • i like to know were that tire came off of?

  • those tires dont weigh anywhere near 1000lbs....i would no

  • if this tyre is like the one my neighbor has in his backyard, then it weighs around 450 kilos.

  • no, you wouldn't know.

  • b/c you no me right?....faggot

  • you can't just say it's not 1000lb and say '...i would no'. give some proof instead of sounding like a know it all cocksucker. this is an 1100 lb tire. learn something, faggot.

  • ...o yea cocksucker so original....what you want me to do take a picture of the tire on fucking scale?.....so why dont you give me proof it is 1000lbs???

  • you are absolutely right bro...it weighs about 300 lbs..if that...if it had a rim and was calcium filled it would weight about 1000...i no too....worked in a tire shop for 25 yrs.!

  • Looks like fun!!!

  • i say you screem AHHHHHHHH when you do it it will work better

  • HELLL no

  • holy shit. im training for my school wrestling team i really wanna start tireflips... but fuck im in the middle of the city were can i do it? and were can i get a tire that is a challenge for my weight but not impossible (160lbs)

  • no it's gotta be a 1100 bc look at it when it's upright. its as tall as he is. a 700 would be around his shoulder.

  • I'm 6'1'', and a 720 would be in between should and chin height. Also, you have no way of know how tall that tire is without know how tall he is. Plus, if it was any bigger, it's obviously not by much meaning possible 800 or 950.

  • this guy looks taller than 6'1 to be honest, he's pretty big looking, and the tire is taller tahn HE is.

  • This tire is not 1100 lbs. I do a lot of tire work, and I'd be extremely surprised if it was even a 720. It's hard to tell without having the measurements, or anything consistent to compare it to. Good stuff though, I love tire day... throw in some stone work as well and you've got yourself a heck of a workout.

  • Good job. That's a heavy beast. I was flipping a 26.5-25 E3/L3 tire (about 900 lbs.) yesterday. I got it twice. Keep up the good work!

  • So Im assuming from my perspective, its strats off as a deadlift then transitions to a push press type of thing?? I always wanted to try tires...

  • i do that for warm ups, for a real heavy/real workout, u gotta roll rosie o donald.

  • Tough tyre flippers don't take their tyre flippin' lightly. Actually it would be fun to get in that tyre and roll down a hill. Then Travis could push it back up the hill - everyone wins!

  • Man, 1100 lbs. with good form. Pretty impressive.

  • good form? his form sucked. his back was arched with the tire resting on his chest. if your spinal chord doesnt fly out of your asshole, then its snapping in 2.

  • His didn't. Also, how about you post a video of YOU doing that shit with CORRECT form, if you're so fucking knowledgeable, you fucking troll.

  • he didnt did he? look at 23-25 seconds. his lower back is completely arched in with the tire resting on his chest. i guess im seeing things huh? fuck you, you weak faggot. dont cry because youre both wanna be strong men and youre posting a video online of a kid with a shitty physique and horrible form, then youre going to comment back saying he didnt have shitty form and have a pissy attitude about it.

  • His spine didn't "fly out his asshole" as you said it would with that form. And I still don't see a video on your channel of you showing correct form. So you can fuck off with that shit, because we don't really care what some jealous little bitch, who's only attempt at talent is trolling, has to say about something that he obviously couldn't do himself. Say whatever you want, just remember that nobody cares about you, not even online.

  • Damn, you got any ketchup? to put on all these Harsh Browns you keep serving me. whats with you and the word trolling? i think youre reading body building websites a little too much. you need to stop the shitty online videos and hit the gym A LOT harder then what you both are. and if your fat ass would like to bring me a tire to tampa,fl id be glad to flip it with correct form.

  • Nobody. Not-even-online.

  • then again thats 1100 fuckin pounds still impressive...

  • shh... there is no such thing as good form on the tire. Its not a snatch or anything - its a fucking tire - a big rubber donut that weighs 1100 lbs. Strongman rules!! oh and... shhhhh

  • LOL, no such thing as bad form? you people online are fucking goons. You only need good form while weight lifting huh? no good form picking up a tire that doesnt even weigh 1100 lbs. look at this guys physique, he couldnt lift up a 500 lb tire. STRONGMEN competitions use a 900 lb tire you fucking moron. i think you should date these 2 losers in this video.

  • if you want to get it to the end of the pavement you should roll it on its side. you'll find it much easier that way.

  • i do this its a simular weight 350kg? check my videos it worth a watch if you've got time

  • i don't think its 1100ib tire, it look less than that.

  • @Frienever No, tires from heavy equipment weigh an insane amount. Try rolling just a regular farm tractor tire once and it'll be clear to you.

  • some of you people say stuff about this. you dont even know how hard this is on your body! mario12345678 is right, it works almost every muscle in your body. we have to do 2 sets of 20 of these with 280 pound tires for our freshmen football workouts. dont say shit unless you do these, you have respect for this when you do them

  • Thats a big tire!! Nice lifts..good job!!

  • man my boy dario2004 can proble get this hes a beast

  • nice m8 keep up the good work! i got my routine going on this end too.

  • atta boy Trav

  • are those actual real tires for cars??

  • those are for tractors and dump trucks for heavy duty use ;D

  • omg! just roll it. thats no way to move a tire around.

  • lol

  • @TeeJay92336 thats a work out lol, hes training for a competition of some sort im guessing

  • whats the numbers on that tire?

  • great technique!

  • That kicks ass! I want to get a bigger tire now!

  • haha 1100 pounds my ass. If that's 1100, then let me know when your first WSM comp is.

  • but your not really lifting the whole tire in the air... kinda just half of its weight

  • your not picking up the full 1100...remember half of the tire is on the ground

  • OBVIOUSLY hes not... but the TIRE WEIGHS 100LB...

aka hes FLIPPING a 1100lb tire like the title says..d'oh?

  • Yes. Its like a deadlift, benchpress, clean and press combo. Its an ass kicker, and the only people who downplay it are the ones who have never done it.

  • So much truth to this post, First couple times I trained with a tire it also burned the crap out of my forearms.............amazing workout!

  • cool technique on that jumbo tire dude!!

  • he stole that off my truck. :-(

  • damn him

  • you are a true beast! Great job.

  • solid mate. i didnt think you had anything in your tank on the last lift but you did! nice.

  • hardcore!

  • dude... AWESOME

  • im really lookin forward into strongmn where can i find a tire please email me back

  • any tire company will give you a big one, they cost money to throw away

  • Tire looks legit to me. At the last pro/am I competed in the tire was mid 900s and it was smaller than that one. Most of the pros didn't flip it more than 4 times but it was slick and short and fat which is a lethal combination.

  • if you think thats a 1100 pound tire you should go pro then lol

  • Dude that is some serious work

HEy everyone else, stop posting what the weight is and is not. 1100, 1200, 900, 800 who cares? its big, its tough.

Where did you guys get that? The biggest one i could find recently was a 400lbs Combine tire from Firestone. its roughly half the size of that one in total width/length

  • first off - nice work

Second..regarding tire weight..People can say a tire weight whatever...weigh it and be sure. I have a tire EXACTLY like one in a comp I did..they said it was 800...I took mine to work and it weighed 625. I called MIchelin direct and they said shipping weight on the tire as 710lb, plus or minus 5

Tire wear can vary a tire tremendously..so if in doubt get it to a commercial scale and be sure..

  • That's what you call determination!

  • that tire looks bigger than 1100 lbs! Our 800 lb tire is quite a bit smaller. Great job!

  • if you get closer to the tire and use your legs to lift it, it's easier. and yes, it's probably 1100lbs. maybe 1200lbs.

  • Unlike other videos on here, THAT is proper tire flipping technique! Good shit

  • bullshit, this tire is not 1100 pounds

  • DAMN good job man good job

  • fuck!

  • that tire is your bitch

  • I agree
