  • the handler is offering a great deal of assistance to the dog with his left arm/hand

tghe dog is 'dirty' in the blind and may also have been in the out from a distance (hard to tell from the vifeo)

  • could you tell me the difference between schH and zvv plz also how many levels are their in zvv

  • the dog walking like the military from korea hahaha

  • Excellent video! 5 stars! Shows the German shepherds top qualities ; Intelligence- with the obedience part, Agility- jumping over that wall effortlessly, Strength- locking on the sleeve, and the drive to do it all. I have always owned German shepherds, by far, my favorite dog!

  • great dog, great handling

I really liked the agression in the reviere

    he is not playing

Could you put a link with the pedigree please?

    Congrats

  • Yes he is hitting the dog. The reason why is because they are trying to simulate real life situations. In real life if the dog had to defend you they are going to get hit so you make it part of the training so that they don't freak out.

  • I do not know much about this type of training so I want to ask is he hitting the dog at the end and if so why? Otherwise, very good and trained, well behaved dog. I have one myself and I can walk him with no leash and even in the middle of a run he will turn on a dime when we call him. They are very eager to please dogs; I want a female now. I love the breed.

  • nice dog

  • cracking dog thats how a shepard should be..my parents used to have a langfolds bitch called tara...one in a million..boy do i miss her

  • Good speed on the call-back!

Not so good guard sequense, in military training we have longer distance between the dog and the badguy, in case of kicking\ hiting.

    And the dog is BEAUTIFUL!

I have a black one myself.

  • Thanks for the feedback.

Chrasos is not a military dog. He's a V-Rated SCHh III, IPO III, ZVV1 German Shepard.

The distance between him, and the agitator, in SCHh competition is acceptable per SCHh rules.

  • :-) It was by NO means meant as critiscm.

Wonderful focus during walk-part, really nice.

  • Wow.. thats amazing. I could watch things like this for hours. No offence but why does he shout at his dogs? I know you have to give clear commands but dogs can hear very well... no need to shout is there? Still a great dog though! I'd love to see more.

  • well I knwo this comment was posted a long time ago but I'll reply.

Dogs can hear very well but they can hear everything very well, the car on the highway two miles away, that bird in the tree a few hundred yards away, the breeze. When sounding a command you want to make sure to get the dogs full attention and make it as clear as possable so the the dog does not faulter in anyway.

  • vm next? :)

  • Chrasos is an EXCELLENT dog - imported from Germany by Kiewel Working Dogs International, Inc.

Congratulations to Kevin on the purchase of Chrasos - you are going to have a lot of good times with him!!!
