@eprexe by 'sold' im pretty sure they mean the family picked and paid for him when he was 3 weeks old and when he is old enough to leave his mum they take him home :)

This is my all time love. It was fate to meet the breeder, Lo and her family and find Rookie, because he has been the light in our life. His big brother Chip loves him and has taught him all the ropes!

Cavaliers are the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever ask for. All animas love you unconditionally but these guys-well let's just say they love unconditionally ALOT and all the time We love him Lorie-thank you bringing him to our life.

aww! He's so cute :) A lot of Cavaliers have the bugged out eyes and "sharp" facial features but he looks exactly like my blenheim pup :) I love his white markings!!! definitely a cutie.

Sometimes. I have had ruby babies where it went away, but if there is a lot of white it usually sticks around. I see Rookie all the time and he still has a lot of white on him. He is such a love.

He was sold at three weeks old but that doesn't mean he went home with a family at that time. No puppy would be able to go to a home at that time because they are too young. They don't go to their new families until they are around 10 weeks old.

He was sold at three weeks old because he had a family put a deposit on him at that time. He would have gone home with them at eight to ten weeks old. A three week old puppy is still nursing. :-)  It would be WAY to early. I am glad you liked the video.

if you go to a good breeder then the risk of heart disease is lower, u just have to do some reaserch. they can live for up to 15 years. they r such a wonderful breed!! i own one and am getting another soon!

Cavaliers are very prone to having heart problems. Do they all have a problem by 3 or 5 years?  No way. Get a Cavalier from a breeder who is in the one of the Cavalier clubs and you will stand a extremely good chance of having a dog that lives a long life. Good Cavalier breeders get their dogs "heart certified" EVERY year and will not breed a dog that is not "heart clear." This breed really does need to have their hearts watched very carefully.

That made me smile. :-) It is not uncommon for quality dogs to be sold to qualified familes before they are old enough to go to their new home. They can be sold at three weeks of age, but don't go home until they are older than 8 weeks. No one sends home three week old pups.

Same Rookie. He was selected at three weeks old, but the family had a medical crisis and couldn't take him when it was time. He now has a new forever family and a tri-colored step-brorher to play with. He lives two miles from me so I get to see his sweet face!
