I actually made a mistake on this, I actually got him in the 5th round. lol I got Brett Favre in the 9th round. Still 1-3 though because I fell for the hype of Jamal Lewis and Bernard Berrian. That and I ended up getting the toughest schedule. lol

I selected MT as a backup RB and I believe he has all the ability that you say however, what makes me nervous is the fact that defenses will stack the box in order to try to force the kid to throw. Hopefully he can prove you right.

My absolute bust of 2008 has to be Michael Turner. You shouldn't get him in the 3rd round. Maybe the 4th or 5th. He won't get as many carries as you might think, and he won't get third downs because Jerious Norwood has better hands and a better YPC average. Another concern would have to be staying healthy. He has never had more than 80 carries in a season. And is Matt Ryan, a rookie QB, really so much of a threat that you have to defend the pass? Teams will stack the box, not good for Turner

well Ronnie Brown was in the same spot last year and look what he was able to do before he got hurt.I don't know if turner is as good as brown but he is fast so he does have a chance to be very good.

Michael Turner is explosive. No doubt. But the unsung heroes of any succesful running game are the O-lineman. Atlanta's are terrible. And Ronnie has much better hands than Turner, so he obviously got more touches, and he got 3rd down carries.

Like I said, a field day. His division is fairly weak in the way of defense other than the Bucs. But their out of division schedule includes some tough run defenses- Green Bay, Chicago, Philly, Minnesota,and San Diego. Ouch

(PART 5)if i were to select romo in rd 2, and cross my fingers that turner falls to me at pick 32, then id be able to really focus on grabbing upside rbs in the later rounds after selecting a couple of wrs( brandon marshall even with the suspension, santonio holmes, roy williams) looking to get 2 of them in with picks 41 and 49 overall. upside rbs like kevin smith jonathan stewart (and his better half deanngello williams) chris johnson ricky willaims. (READ THIS FIRST) we dont do a traditional snake draft order in my league. we redraw on every odd round. i have the 7th overall pick then on the way back i have the 18th overall like normal. the thrid round i drew the the 8th pick (32nd overall) so in the 4th round i have the 5th pick (41st overall. then in the 5th i drew the first pick, 49th overall (so id have the last pick in the 6th. I think theres a chance both mo jo d and tony romo are available for me with the 18th pick.

For his Charger carrer, I have always loved Michael Tyrner, it's just that he didn't get his carries. If you look at his week 4 he exploded for 147 yards in 10 carries. In 2008, he won't need 400 carries to be a top 5 running back because he'll gain so much yards on little carries. I actually drafted him this year.

turner is a great running back behind an offensive line in the rebuilding stage and a poor passing offense

mjd is capable of top ten but fred taylor takes half the carries

btw fantasy teams don't rely on rb's any more u can get a stud wr in the third round that could outperform a third round running back

I'm a Falcons fan so I choose to believe you're right! A passing game that defenses have to respect would sure make things easier on him. If you pick him you should be rooting for Matt Ryan to start, because he's the best QB the Falcons have by far.

I think your right about Turner, he has been one of the very best back up running backs in the NFL for a long time and now we finally get to see how he handles being the star of the show. If you could actually pick him up as late as the 4th round that would surely be a steal.

I went to the Falcons game Saturday and Michael Turner was the highlight and the MVP(for the Falcons anyway) of the game. This video must have been made before Saturday because on Saturday he had four carries for 113 yards. Two of the carries were huge and almost touchdowns. The second play of the game he broke off a 75 or so yard run. I hope the entire NFL underestimates him because right now him and Norwood are the Falcons biggest weapons.

Michael Turner is a Stud! I got him in the 6th round in one of my drafts. McFadden will probably be taken before Turner in most leagues.  That is a big mistake.

Nice work. We have been calling him the biggest steal of 2008 drafts all off-season long. Fourth- to fifth-round is his current ADP, but after this past weekend, he may be a consistent third-round guy from here on out. Still, when you can play like a top 10-12 overall pick when all is said and done in 2008, guess what??? He is still the steal of 2008 drafts at even the cost of a top 25 pick... and he is going in the third- to fourth-round? Steal! We will beat it into the ground on our Site!
