do the move just once, then shuffle off three single cards, injogging them, put the rest on top, then shuffle the three injogged cards back to the top and finish by doing the shuffle you describe, but doing it just the once,by all means a very fair shuffle of the deck
Um Jeff, how is this different from the regular Si Stebbins shuffle video that you posted before, they look very similar to each other. And also, maybe you should change the title from "Si Stebbons" to "Si Stebbins" to avoid confusion. All that aside, this is a very deceptive shuffle and I admire the idea. I first saw this in one of Joshua Jay's DVD and I think it looks very good but right now I'm learning a full deck in the hands false shuffle which I think is better in terms of fairness.
@tallyhoviper645. Not different at all, I'm glad you have seen both though. Good eye. I fixed the spelling, thanks. I got this from Josh Jay, and I'm reposting it for a Vanishing Magic contest entry. My other is over the minimum 2 minutes. So, you have a "fair" false shuffle huh? :)
@vigil3232 Oh ok I know what you mean now. Yes, I'm working on two very good and deceptive in the hands false shuffle right now; the Heinstein Shuffle by Karl Hein and Grey shuffle by Benjamin Earl. I wouldn't call these shuffles 'fair' but rather very realistic and would very much be mistaken for a legitimate shuffle in real live performances. You should check it out if you haven't already:)
