Ive had this game for quite a while and have only played multiplayer once. I was disappointed to never find more than two other persons playing. Its a cool game with a few parts that felt badly designed or out of place. If anyone still plays this on X-box live my tag is Darthbadious.

Single Player campaign is one of the best games ever made. Multiplayer is GARBAGE. Starbreeze should've just left it out.

some of the achievements for it require you to kill 10000 players, or win 1000 matches. unfortunately, the multiplayer is so shit that no one plays it online so getting that many of either will be impossible. just a very broken and frustrating game all round, nothing brilliant about it and a lot of stupid design descisions that do nothing but ruin the fun. vin diesel, i am very dissapointed in you for thinking this is a good game.

Even the single player is one frustrating encounter after another, the level designers for this game focussed all their power on removing any sense of fun that the game might provide.

In my mind there is fair challenge and then there is the kind of challenge that Riddick gives. The sort of challenge where you have to die repeatedly in order to find the answer by trial and error. No level of skill will allow you to see an enemy hiding behind a closed door and immediately kill you on sight. You must admit though that the wall turrets and spider turrets are overpowered beyond the level of any kind of fair challenge.

enemys did spot you sometime when you got n a "new" room. but when you stayed in stealth mode there wasent really any problem. those spiderbots werent hard at all, you just had to look around abit first. But i DID die alot too :)

@colonelfrost8 The dark Athena campaign was a lot better than butcher bay but both were focused too much on trial and error. Every encipher was designed so that you had to die in orde to learn where the enemies are an how they behave. It also pissed me off so much that getting spotted once meant game over almost every time.

@colonelfrost8 Easy was frequently frustrating but not too hard. Medium wad a constant challenge and hard was nothing but 8 hours of punishment.

@colonelfrost8 There were so many sections where it was impossible to get close to an enemy and the tazer was the only ranged weapon. It pissed me off that so much of the game was spent trying to get close enough to enemies to do the stealth kill. The tazer helped a lot of those moments once you got it.
