yea ive seen it, didn't really see how you controlled it...so you have to tilt the keel, along with trim the sails and steer...i spose it takes practice eh? how does the keel actually affect performance? the boat cant tilt too much?
yeah it takes a bit to get the hang of sailing it, every now and then you cant the keel the wrong way and the boat falls over, but you get there in the end. the canting keel makes a huge difference, i have aslo got another RC yacht with the same hull shape but standard foils, and the canter just leaves it for dead, its got 1.5kg on a 500mm fin that cants 45 degrees each side.

yep, designed and built it myself, theres no standard system you can get for canting keels in RC boats, its just a 3:1 purchase

so does that tilt with the turn of the ruder (same channel from the transmitter) or is that action alone enough to turn the boat?

it uses a 3 channel controller, one for the sails, one for the keel and one for the rudder, I presume you have seen the vid on here of it sailing
