you can make a verry powerfull infrared with 100 euro

you buy a cheap camcorder with infrared vision... buy some good infrared led lights

yup because of the infrared light in front of the goggles,this really works..this is more likely a night-mode in many types of cameras out there, so you'll not see green, but blue..

That's 'cause they only have one LED IR light...if you use one of those IR torch things it'd be like using a flashlight except it's only visible through the camera.

Oh no dude I was replying so someone else...but still I hear this isn't that great but it somewhat works. This IS a crappy camera w/ nightvision w/ a small screen like the old cameras, and more powerful IR LEDs than regular cameras. But basically that's all there is to it. It's just a camera that doesn't record. I'm thinking of saving up and getting like a monocle for less than $300 and if that doesn't work well I'll just use IR light to help it out.

Yeah that's what I meant lol...yeah but military grade are gen3 which means they cost a few grand (the modern ones)...those you talk about are gen1 like those ATN ones...I thought of those too, you can actually get them for $400 or somewhere around there on ebay.

yeah they were bushnell. it was infrared it said you could see to 100 feet with it but i might just go with the glasses. this eyeclops thing doesnt look too good but it your just walking in the dark it should do but i think it might break easily though.

yeah i think they are. its kinda fuzzy its still good enough to get detail but compared to the modern day gen3 goggles they are pretty fuzzy but they work good for me. is it possible to have High Defintion Night vision?

uhmn..for me the gen3 pvs14 are kinda sweet for me though they are kinda pricey but hell they work great. and when playing outdoors like a jungle senario, for me every night vision devices work great with ir flood/torches, how about you?

same crappy night vision wont really matter as long as i got my big IR flashlight. one time i strapped my video cam to my head and used it as a night vision monocular with my IR flashlight

i usually use flashlight when only inside the camp, but when deployed outside the camp, like recon or mission, flashlight is a no no for me..gives out your position to the enemy

Those are too expensive I'm gonna get these and see how they work for airsoft...and I don't think it'd be comfortable using them over a paintball mask. Besides a paintball shot might break the damn thing lol. And if I can't see too far I'll just add an IR light to my M4 and that'll do it for me...it's like having an invisible flashlight...well except when I'm close they'll see the dim red light but by that time they'd be dead.
