I have a clicking noise, in my mic and headphones when I record with the playback. I reduce the record quality to line my input with my output, and the clicking gets louder. I have to mute the recording track just to record. How do I get rid of this noise?

I have the exact same problem. This seems to be quite a problem for Audition users. I'm sure there must be some way to fix it in the options, but what I do is I record my voice with the music playing and then move the vocals backwards a couple milliseconds. If you don't plan on doing that you could lower your microphone record quality........that could help.

uhhh...the same way you make disparate selection in ANY windows program, from Explorer to Open Office.

i got a mixer, and dis adobe 3.0. but i can't seem to record anything through the mixer den to the software. i usually use sony acid pro and it's werking perfectly fine, but wen adobe audition 3.0, it's not werking. i hope you know something abt my qn. please!

for example i have tracks 2-7 that i want to put a vst plugin on (lets say a reverb) well by the time i get to track 7 the program is slowing down, skipping, freezing, or just shuts down. is there a short cut for putting fx on tracks with doing them individually?

hey ray, how do you copy and paste vocals example-(hook) in adobe audition 1.5?

i would try loop duplicate or duplicate and then just line it up to where u think it should go. listening real closely is the key.

sencond is zooming in to get a good look at the waves. see where the waves are lined up with ur instro and ur original hook then take ur duplicate down to where u think it should go.

thats how i do my hooks and i never have any dislike to my mixdowns.
