I don't remember who bought me my O's shirt when I was about 14. I wore it a lot but not to O's matches but did wear an O's scarf and still do and recently bought a Somme commemorative badge as well and am happy to dress like a supporter but not a player.

But the club did not need to sell me that shirt to pay the players wages, like nowadays.
