It is from a 2006 MonteCarlo SS It is a 5.3 (327ci) all aluminum V8. It is basicaly an LS1 made to fit a front wheel drive.

Man thats pretty freakn awesome!!! Sounds great!! I just bout me an 86 gt and have to get an engine and trying to decide on what to place in it. Have you got a web page or myspace with pics?

You should have cut the cross over pipe and had it Y into the curve area.

I had to keep as much of the exhaust system "stock"as I could to pass smog. I want to put on custom headers later.
