I won't go so far as to say that Terry was the better singer, but I blame Kevin for the fall of REO into a top 40 band. I consider this to be their second best album behind REO Two. High Infidelity was the first real crap album, but there were signs that it was coming. I have this on CD which I don't think this was taken from (I can hear the vinyl noise). Of course albums sound better, but only when they're in perfect condition.
@thealbumcollector Well, I knew REO Speedwagon Awesome Music!!!thanks Hi Infidelity!!! which is the best album by REO Speedwagon for me!!! I think that 100% of people outside the United States also know the amazing music of REO Speedwagon the same way, so I consider Hi Infidelity is one of his best albums became known worldwide!!!, because of not coming Hi Infidelity!!! we don't know would be happening with REO Speedwagon!!!
@thealbumcollector BTW that sounds in these video cover is an album of a friend of mine from Chile! who send me this Awesome album!!, she download music from Internet!!!, my vinyl is well preserved almost like new even though it has 40 years!!! of record or published!!!, I buy it by chance in 1986 with two albums more of REO Speedwagon!!!, RTSO and LIAD, because when i have Hi Infidelity!!! and Wheels Are Turnin'!!! I decided to investigate about what record the band in the decade of the 70's...
I saw REO at the Wadena Rock Festival in Iowa, during the summer of 1970. REO was from Champaign , Illinois. When I first saw them they were more of a regional band. "Riding the Storm Out" made them a national group. They always had excellent live performances. I even remember "Dead at Last" being played. It blew me away more than I already was.
The hardest working band in showbiz! These guys earned everything they got .Saw 'em in New York City opening for Joe Walsh around '73 we hung with them for a while.I think they already had about five albums out and no one knew who they were. Keep Pushing On Indeed!
Excellent tune. It really almost sounds like something Spirit would sing. When I first heard it and did not know who it was I thought maybe it was Spirit.
Sounds a little like Jethro Tull, or the flute anyway.
