Since I was a Muslim I can tell you what is "offending", Muslims don't think Moe is a terrorist neither they're terrorists... so when someone associate terror with their holly book it gets into their nerves. And the rest of retarded species called Homo Sapiens Sapiens is gonna apply stereotypes according to that...
@spinspermy Who is doing the associating? The people who observe Muslims committing acts of terror or the Muslims committing the acts of terror? Observation is an impirical exercise, observation becomes a more and more objective exercise as you increase the number of observers. The number of observers is well over half the worlds population... who's doing the associating?
well i haven't seen Muhammad but i did find Waldo. we drank some Arizona rasberry tea together and talked about all his travels he went on around the world.
I'm not really one to be easily offended. I used to be, and a lot of it was a sort of someone does something, wrongs me in some way, for example, and I used to react more because I felt I was expected to act in such a way for such a thing rather than a genuine reaction because I felt it was the right thing to do. I haven't been like that for many years, but I suspect the way I was, I wasn't alone in that, and many cling to such an approach.
Or maybe I'm coming up with a post-hoc justification.
This is why women should be kept out of politics. They are quite stupid and are never on the side of decency and tradition. Their political activism is always materialistic and shallow because they don't have the capacity for anything beyond that.
@Mazdak1 --- you're the most adorable troll I've had around here in a while; you get two cookies because you're obviously trying extra hard to make me sad, and the harder you fail the cuter it is.
@TheLizardLass no reason whatsoever to blaspheme, you do it only because you don't have to deal with the consequences. In 50 years this won't be happening. If it were coming from a Christian standpoint, i could understand and respect it to the extent that the people blasting it are decent folk, but materialists have nothing to offer the world and no solutions. They hate tradition, no matter where its from. Islam is just an easy target because its "foreign."
@Mazdak1 --- where exactly does this idea that I'm a "materialist" come from -- do you even know what the word means? Because if you knew anything about me or about my beliefs and values, you would know that I may be a lot of things, but a "materialist" is not one of them.
@Mazdak1 anyone who would blaspheme this way, and call herself a feminist is frankly a materialist who simply doesn't get the point. a materialist believes everyone is the same, essentially, since everything in the end is based on quantity alone, rather than quality. Those of us who are sane however, understand that this flies in the face of the natural order of things, of everything in its proper place.
@Mazdak1 -- I don't believe everyone is the same, and I believe that quality is much more important than quantity. For example, I think that the quality of the ideas one adheres to is much more important than the quantity of people who share those ideas with you. Equality and sameness are not the same thing, particularly in regards to feminism (which is a subset of humanism). Equality in that sense means equal rights & responsibilities, not that we all have the same capabilities & aspirations.
@TheLizardLass Equality and sameness are connected, thats why the education system is what it is, thats why the media churns out things the way they do. Its to conform. This isn't some sort of conspiracy, it makes sense and any government is going to try to educate a populace in line with its own system.
Democracy and voting and all of that junk are frankly things which are purely quantitative- the votes of one wise man mean nothing in a crowd of 1000 etc.
humanism is by the way, a purely secular idea of society which inevitably led to the disorders that have plagued the western world since the 16th century. Its a denial of anything and everything beyond and above, with a focus not on the heavens or the above, but on man himself, in the most base way. Feminism is simply another word for turning women into empty drones and worker cogs, and they've conformed to this ideal with all the irrational vigor one could expect.
@TheLizardLass Women and men have different responsibilities and as to "rights" i don't believe in the notion that because something is popped out that it instantly has "rights" on account of it. There are privileges alright, that should be extended to those who deserve them but the idea of "rights" is purely humanistic, enlightenment era nonsense. first rights are extended to a nobility, then a bourgeoisie, and then even the lowest types have these "rights". The results are all around us.
@Mazdak1 I am not a Woman I am a 60 year old aethiest male. I fear idiots like this person come in the shape of males as well. An intelligent attempt to discuss atheism or get into such disputes, is best not done in this manner. To simply try and offend people in this infantile way, reveals that this person has a EGO much larger than her brain. Pathetic were do these people come from.?
I think even her handle is an offence to lizards, seeking fame or infamy which is
@nbm34 --- what I find interesting is that you're both trying really hard to offend me by calling me names, and accusing me of holding beliefs I don't hold. But since neither of you has offered any real argument, and since you are both such blatant hypocrites (criticizing me for "trying to offend people" while making blatant attempts to offend) you have no chance of success.
@TheLizardLass I am afraid you are right. Sarcasm can be offensive. But to try and get some perspective on what you are supposed to be doing here. WhAT IS it ABOUT THE CARDS and stick people, with Muslims in the picture. If you are presenting some intellectual issue for discussion. This presentarion to me is not getting to the point, and poorly designed to do so, if that was your aim.
@nbm34 --- the purpose of the video was to make people think about what it is that causes some things to offend them, about the process which causes them to get offended. I repeatedly set people up to think they should get offended only to provide more information to negate that offense. And I ended by referencing a (at the time) recent controversy that pointed out to some of the people participating in Draw Muhammad Day (of which this was NOT a part) that they too have their sacred idols.
@TheLizardLass 2of 2 So in this i he did not need any human to deal with such people like me, who do not believe in fairies neither etc. Evidently a human mind was offended not GODS. On this mission I sympathise on reflection what you are trying to do . Just rattling the Muslims cage like this do though not giving them the banana,of reason first. Just waving the stick man at them just makes them go ape. SHIT and he was only the prophet. WHAT IFTHE STICK WAS GOD
This is why men should be kept out of politics. They are quite stupid and are never on the side of decency and tradition. Their political activism is always materialistic and shallow because they don't have the capacity for anything beyond that.
Adolf was a common name in Nazi Germany because of Adolf Hitler.
Good video. I'm putting it on a playlist because it confronts a problem I haven't seen confronted so clearly- the "offended because my religion told me to be offended" issue.
In Islam its unacceptable to have images or statues of living beings drawn, displayed etc, especially with illustrations of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This is the reason why the illustrations are insensitive and disrespectful to the Muslims. It is universally acceptable that we should all respect and be sensitive to peoples beliefs and religion, so why should it be any different now.
@mouradmikomi --- first of all, please explain to me how it is respectful when people tell those who don't believe the same as them that they deserve to be tortured forever. Second, people have been MURDERED for "insulting Islam"; the intent of the "have you seen this man" protest was to stand in solidarity with the victims of those murders, and to send the message to their killers that we will not be intimidated. Third, the unquestioning privilege granted to religious belief is dangerous.
@TheLizardLass man u are such a brave lady...u have won urself a warrior fan from rajasthan...keep up the good workk...and if anybody ever threatens u ...come to bharatpur in rajasthan ...my ancestors fucked these muslims and i will do it again,,,,yeah would lovee to nuke em all hehehe

@TheLizardLass Ah, I see. Well, I recently put up my own HYSTM vid this morning. Ironically enough, it may be muted because Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" belongs to WMG. (Thought it belonged to Atlanta Records. Oh Well.)
