  • beautiful interpretation :))

  • Thank you

  • amazing

  • Good but "un peu trop platonique".

  • That is one of the most beautiful, intrinsic and deepest music ever written the genius of Beethoven flows as through the silence as the notes. Congratulations.

  • so sadly beautiful

  • It's probably just me, but do some of the upper notes sound out of tune?

I think it's because I'm used to my piano. . .(which is out of tune itself) Therefore, an in tune piano sounds out of tune!

  • @pookiehohn no you're right...they are slightly off

  • detente

  • Really like valentina playing beethoven...i find the strength and changing rythyms similar to how gould played lvb.

    Thanks for uploading

  • Hm... as much as I am a really big fan of Valentina, I think the adagio here lacked some emotional depth. It's not bad, but Brendel's reading of this movement is still my No. 1.

I would even say that someone who hasn't heard Alfred Brendel playing this Adagio sostenuto has not yet heard this movement real feelling, that has been described as Beethoven's "mausoleum of collective sorrow"

  • Try to get Glen Gould's interpretation

  • Oh, God.

  • I love this part of Hammerklavier! Its harmony of minor and major is perfect. Deep and mean chords...

It came to us through Time...

    Let it go farther...

  • Great performance! Thaks for uploading the whole hammerklavier in such great quality! Much appreciated!

On a sidenote I wish i had a piano like that! It has such a sweet tone ; )

  • Wow...that's beautiful from 7:00 on. I wonder what he was thinking about while composing that...

  • @MusicMan20061210 Agreed, but it's a she

  • @justlooseit8567 No, I'm pretty sure Mr. Beethoven was a man.

  • @robby35us I was talking about Lisista, I thought he was too

  • wunderbare Zusammensetzung, ihre Auslegung außerordentliche Glück.

  • was willst du damit sagen?
