You have to put the black pronged part into the side with the button with spring pressure. Push it all the way into the button until it clicks. Then you have to slam the other end with the white sleeve onto a desk to get the sleeve to retract. Once you do that drop the needle into that same half that has the sleeve then put them both back together.
yea pushing the button is like pulling the cord on those rides where they pull you up and drop you. i had one fail on me once too. the needle went in but no medicine. after a minute i pulled it out and looked at it, then it started squirting me in the face. they sent me a new box for free. im still tryin to take this one apart and could only manage to remove the sticker.
wow thats awesome!! how did you get it to reload like that?? i thought once it pops its done. hey do you know if it can be done anywhere other than the leg/stomach? i was thinking some other places might be better but idk
Oh i'm psycho. I take them apart all the time after they're done.
It's crazy how precarious the system is. I think the red cap prevents accidental firings by inserting a pin into the release prongs/plunger so they can never be pushed together unlatching them from a ridge inside the pen. I saw you told someone that once it hits yellow that it's done but that's not true you must wait 10 seconds after for it to disperse otherwise it comes back out the injection path! Stomach is far less pain too.
Wanna know something else that's crazy? I had a pen fail. I hit the button and it slammed the needle in but the plunger never went down! I took the injector apart and manually injected myself.... I kinda like it better that way... hard to say really. I have a hard time pushing the button for some reason......
cool i think i might try to take it apart and do it manually in a few days to avoid the stabing! lol
