  • Just do 50 to 75 arm lifts, (lifting beer to your mouth).

  • Exercise totally helps. I always hammer out 20 minutes on a bike followed by weight training. Then I get some nasty sweat coming out and may have a headache for a bit, but it goes away. Afterwards, you feel like a new man.

  • Unless you are so sick you can't get out of bed (I've had a few of those) then get up, get cleaned up, and get moving. Go for a walk. You may puke walking along the sidewalk, but I swear to God you will feel a lot better.

  • To be honest, it's not such a bad thing!! I mean spending the whole day in bed doing nothing may be comfortable, but being a bit active afterwards might help to get better...maybe I wouldn't exactly work out, but rather go for a walk or something like that...

  • Like the guy said, its really age dependent and contingent on your own level of fitness. i am young and in good shape. when i was a bit younger in school, i use to love to play basketball after a night out. felt much better now a days i swim or run.

    The best part about working out while hungover is when you get home afterwards. Your appetite will rise, you take a nice hot shower and you get some really good rest... cause when im hungover i can't get good sleep.

  • Eating slightly burnt toast is good for you also. The carbon will absorb some of the alcohol.

    who would ever wanna workout hungover?? I don't even wanna get out of bed when I'm like that. If a person wants to lose weight they shouldn't be getting drunk cuz alcohol does contain calories and such, so let's start with THAT huh?

  • a workout is a no brainer for hangover relief. blood is pumping faster= metabolism is in high gear = faster removal of acetaldehyde. the sweating is a huge plus as well, as many toxins are removed through sweat. although getting the heart going seems to be a miracle, it is hard to do during a hangover... so pound 2 glasses of water and sit in the sauna! and dont forget to take a nalgene in there with you... and have a poland springs when you get out.

  • guys, what is with all the negativity towards this video? This is a great video that really answers a question a lot of people have. It's a legit question to ask and I'm glad diethealth tried to answer it- ignoring that fact that people have hangovers just because alcohol is bad for you doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Thanks for this video.

  • I think you should be asking a DOCTOR not a personal trainer. While this guy is good for general nutrition and exercise, I think that he should not be trying to answer the medical aspects of this question. I'm sure you guys could find someone more medically qualified to provide more accurate and safer information.

    That said, in the Marines, we drink and then go to physical fitness tests all the time... :(
