  • 3:28 the most beautiful unison ever

  • listen to this album on LSD. i recommend it. Andrew Latimer is enlightened and you can feel it through his compositions.

  • the third best album of the 70's after King Crimson's Court And Genesi's Selling England

  • @Waldo2491 silly, that's not how you spell Red.

  • @Malkmusianful lol, Red is King Crimson's second best in my opinion

  • this kicks ass!!!!

  • Sounds Robotic!!! amazin guitar solo...

  • I love this album. One of the most underrated album of the '70s. The guitar "fills" are so good.

  • @Ryu12543 Underrated ???????????????????????????

  • @ruudzwart Yeah... Underrated.

  • @Ryu12543 Camel was very big in The Netherlands.

  • @ruudzwart I forgot to reply a while back: Well they seem to be pretty underrated in America. No one I know has heard of them. Just got Moonmadness in the mail and loving this album too. Glad to hear that they got at least some recognition though.

  • Long live prog rock

  • It's something special with the sound of the guitars of that 70s. They were happy and living and clear!

  • test

  • dfdff

  • Just love this entire album to death.......

  • @jeffthrow6892 :just great.I love it too. It has the Lady Fantasy track :)

  • @dblau2000 -- Yes......"Lady Fantasy" is certainly a highlight.......but "Mirage" has no bad songs, everything on it is excellent!!

  • i live in canada so we dont have camel's (smokes) here ( i never see them) but i looked on the ground a sure enough a camel pack i just smiled and heard this playing in my head

  • Esta es impresionante

  • Love this album. They grew up fast between the debut and this one! Bardens and Latimer really deliver the goods here.

  • if u really like this track ,u should check out " She Said " by a band called Lone Star e an obscure Beatles song from the white album, but more of a prgresive rock ,slightly metal version, but like l say , if u like this track,You'll love it ....She Said by Lone Star

  • 2:07 my god it's like a stampede of energy and power rushing and destroying through everything in it's way

  • No sé porque me recuerdan a Hakwind

  • Anyone listened to Tallulah Bardens - "Daddy Sent Me An Angel" yet? Lovely song.

  • I used to smoke Marlboro, but ever since discovering Camel, I've changed my brand to Camel. Camel Filters for life.

  • This sounds like a very compact version of T2's "In Circles." If it were played in a different key, with extreme variations, a lot of more keyboard action, and a band name derived from a pack of cigarettes.

Besides, Marlboro is the best prog band. I remember when they played their 60-minute magnum opus in my basement.

    They broke up afterwards.

  • i put thumbs down 'cuz i like marlboro!

    ¬¬ not, just kidding

  • why haven't camel made a Mirage Blend yet?

  • @Romencer17 Because the band royally pissed them off by threatening to name "The Snow Goose" into "A Suite for Cancer Sticks" or something along those lines.

  • Like it. My 6 year old son too. Nice piece of music.

  • A great KSHE Klassic!

  • I wanna get this on cassette so ppl think its a pack of squares.

  • When this track finishes, how many of you are just about to hum Supertwister!!

  • Smoking camel Blue now )) Thumbs up if you doo

  • THIS SONG ROCKS !!!!

  • why i never heatd this before? fuckin awesome music and outstand musicians!

  • some zappa influence going on there

  • Just amazing.

  • Am I the only one who's craving a smoke because of this?

  • 4 are just mirage...

  • When we listen to this song, two conclusions we found: ear pleasure and shiver of excitement.

  • I'm 437 and I love this.

  • @Ryu12543 437 is pretty old.

  • @Megadedly yeah 437 months.....

  • fantastic , splendid , beautiful music!

  • Comment removed

  • 1 dislikes? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

a brainless man or a lady gaga's fan.

  • 1 person is on freefall

  • @Inustar1337 shut up, retard.

  • Sounds like late night talk show music.

  • I saw Camel Live twice! Once with Wish Bone Ash and Queen the other time with T Rex and Blue Oyster Cult! At the time I was an empty Air Head going to a concert. Looking back I realize how lucky I was to see such an amazing band not once but Twice. I also did a 1200 M drive with Just this cassette! It never stopped playing ONCE! True Story!

  • sounds like a farting of a god of boredom -.- you could know every song of this-sort prog-rock before you even listen to it!

  • @perica91 Is everyone from Croatia a self-centered prick with terrible taste in music?

  • @antagonist43 Yes. And here's a suggestion: Type f.o.a.d. in the search bar and listen to second result. For you from Croatia.

  • @perica91 It's good to see Croatia breeds such mature and up-to-date people for the future generation. I can't wait to see what you contribute when you grow up: the next big disco album, perhaps?

  • @antagonist43 They still make albums, not only half-assed singles? God help us all...

  • @antagonist43 no.

  • @perica91

Ok,I assume you're a metalhead. You have only voiced your opinion, but I would like to know the thinking behind it.Would you be so kind to tell us what the heck is superior in any form of metal when compared to other kinds or rock music?.I guess it is not the musicians' skill, sensitivity, and vast imagination. What is left ? Obvously the trousers that need patching, hair that needs cutting and finally, too tight chain around neck supporting an ugly face with loads of make up...

  • @MusicFreakPL If metal is just that then prog is just a horde of geeks wearing square glasses making weird noises with keyboards. Don´t kid yourself, no genre of music is simple enough to be classified by one sentence, especially a sentence that is as much correct as "George Bush is the ultimate human being".

  • @Benteiron Man don't get me wrong. I love metal, and Pantera is one of my favourite bands. I simply despise all kinds of black metal where some hairy animals try to convince people they have talent, or a message to convey. The most stupid view is some metalheads doing mosh dance to that cacofony. One has to be musically limited to enjoy that pseudo art.

  • @MusicFreakPL Listen to Ihsahn´s solo project and be positively surprised, its some amazing shit never liked any other BM band though. I also used to dislike death metal (and i still dislike the straightforward shit like Cannibal Corpse who write lyrics about mutilation, zombies etc... Its simply retarded) but then got to understand the growling vocal style, then eventually started liking it and now i play guitar and growl in a band of my own :P

  • @MusicFreakPL Don't forget that most prog rockers in 70s had long hair (Rick Wakeman! And some others). Some of them dressed weird too (Gentle Giant comes to my mind first). Make ups belong to Kiss-esque bands mostly (and they're not really metal). Look doesn't define music, though. Most people think I'm a die-hard metal fan, while being in reality hammond organist. :o)

(ps. nie pisałem po polsku- bo YT nie jest polską stroną. pozdrawiam ;))

  • @perica91 what the fuck is wrong with you,I'm from Croatia and I can assure you we are not all stupid like this prick here..go listen to your acdc and leave us progers alone..

  • 3:29 until 4:30 i was in heaven!

  • 3:29 until 4:30 the greatest riff in prog rock history?

  • @wildfirebendotbt Since 1974 I thought I was the only one!

  • Para mi sí que lo es, el mejor album de la historia del rock.

  • One person chooses Marlboro over Camel

  • Huge Prog Rock fan here! First time hearing this band and so far it sounds awesome :o)

  • I bought this when it came out. I first heard it on Triad Freeform Radio in Chicago. The next day I walked down to S&J records in Hammond IN and picked it up along with Cross Collateral by Passport. Man I miss those days....

  • now this is what I call good underground prog rock

  • Go away beyeler

  • Have this album on wax.....and CD one of my ALL time faves from when i used to TRIP as a teenager......LOL

  • Amazing song from an amazing album

  • Great song. But am I the only when who thinks it sounds like the singer is saying "D'oh, D'oh. D'oh, D'oh, D'oh"?.

  • @Colddeed He's saying "Down," not D'oh.

  • Esse disco fez parte da minha juventude...excelente grupo de rock progresivo.

  • @santyrush Only to be surpassed in awesomeness by "Camel" (their first album)

  • @santyrush next 2 hemispheres

  • sheer genius.

  • Sheer class. The cohesion of Latimer, Bardens, Ferguson and Ward revolutionised rock music forever and can never be emulated.

  • This is my favorite tune off this LP. Saw them do it live in San Diego at Golden Hall in 1975 - they opened for Wishbone Ash (Kiss was the middle group) Also, RIP today 1-22-09 - 7 yrs ago Peter Bardens Died. So play all your Camel LP's and/or CD's!
