  • the engine on the 1998-2010 Fiat Seicento/ Fiat 600 (2005-2010)

    Engine

    0.9L straight-4 OHV 40 PS (29 kW; 39 hp)

    1.1L straight-4 Fire 54 PS (40 kW; 53 hp)

Electric engine 41 PS (30 kW; 40 hp)

  • it's curious that he examined the central air holes (I don't know how to define them but I think you can understand) and said that are better than the cinquecento ones when this particulars are the same on both the models.

  • Good for 95 mph?! Lmfao :')

  • I have one of them, '2000, 1,1 54hp, electric windows and radio, black and so cute ;)

  • they do 100mph

  • @juice0105 I hit a deer at 70mph in mine, I'm still here. What is more the car was rebuilt - needed front wing, headlight, bumper and bonnet and was good as new.

  • fiat must have changed the set up on the 1.1 sporting engines between the cinque and sei. i had both and they drove like totally different animals.

the cinquecento sporting felt like a little rocket come 4000rpm but the seicento seemed to have a flat almost horizontal torque curve and felt far worse for it. you felt you had to cane it to get anywhere. there was no sparkle unlike its predecessor. i had far less fun in the seicento and new dash top mounted rev counter looked silly too

  • Wish they sold them in Australia. The Citymatic would have been fun.

  • @danielsydney Not when they breakdown (which they do, very quickly and regularly)

  • Shitheap

  • Good for 95MPH. Ive Had 101mph out of mine haha

  • @HarderStylezTom I managed 105 in mine. The only reason I ended up going that fast was because I was trying to overtake a bloke with a headset in a 3-Series who desperately didn't want to be overtaken by a little yellow box.

  • well the reporter know little or nothing about Italians, it is not only beauty that matters but the overall score of products and the utility of them.

Anoter stereotype that Brittish invented about us and try to keep alive, shame on you!

  • Just bought one today. Fisty little thing

  • simons car on inbetweeners

  • @juice0105 it's normal because it's a '90s car: also bigger cars of that period, like citroen Saxo, are rubbish in crash test

  • Nice little Car ! Fiat the best

  • See my videos for 0-60 in a Seicento Sporting

  • Turin my town!!!

  • It was a great car - well built (the best built quality from Fiat until arrival of Panda in fact), short gearing, great ride. Perfect city car !

  • Had mine for a year but had to wait nearly a year until I could drive it. It is so much faster than the 95mph it's supposed to do. A bloody dog to get into 5th gear though.

  • i have had my citymatic up to 100 mph, and thats only 899cc so the sporting model withs 1.1 litre engine must go at least 110 mph. build quality is shit and expensive to repair

  • @juice0105 I have Cinquecento - my first Fiat...and its awesome...light steering..perfect handling on 175/50/13 5,5" alloy wheels.Its fun to drive ! Perfect in city...long trips are good too (for 2 passengers)

  • @juice0105 who cares??? How many times you crashed a car?

  • i have a 98 cinquechento,. ive had about 3 years an about 40k miles. really nice little car and look after it myself, great to work on and parts are cheep too! had no problems with it at all, nothing broken or falling off! just passed MOT today with great figures and flying colours....just get one... if you can!

  • this is the SEXIEST car I have ever driven, and it handles very well in all weather conditions. How do I know this? u ask.....I own it!!

Love it to death..U might have problems with the gear shift from time to time, and the engine does not like does sppeds of about 80 miles an hour. Though, I have done 98miles/hr in it for about 8-10 minutes, and its quite shaky...but is relatively stable..

best cruising speed is between 55 to 70 miles an hour..

    very low petrol consumption too.

  • @RougeEntity You love it to death eh? Just make sure you don't crash it or it literally will be to death!

  • @soundseeker63 a coeval utilitarian it's unsafe in the same manner: I have just watched Citroen Saxo crash test, and it's rubbish

  • actually about the crash test performance something to keep in mind about 'old' cars is that they are build rigid , modern cars are made to crumple this is not its built to be strong, so what happens now a days is that the small fiat will use its strength to slow down on the other cars crumple zones , so if it hits a modern car with modern crumple zones you will not be crushed as this car will stay strong as it was designed to. It may be backwards safety but safety none the less

  • i have this car :P

  • Why do you always put "Old Top Gear" in the title, whereas it is "Fifth Gear" show ? :)

  • @wojciech94 it is old top gear... just because you see the ''now'' fifth gear hosts that dont mean all they have done is fifth gear alot of them did actually start off on old top gear, even vicky butler henderson started off on top gear before fifth gear.

  • LoL The italian job Theme!

  • Lol they're not that unsafe, we crashed ours into a clio at 6 mph and survived!

  • fun city car, as long as you dont crash into anything heavier than a cigarette packet, otherwise its almost certain death, these cars are horrendous in a crash, look for euro ncap seicento crash tests... its graphic!

  • @marcr69r its safer than a bike though isnt it lol

  • I have the shumacher limited edition ,it makes me smile every time i drive it, great little car and so far trouble free viva fiat... ps it's nice to be a bit different..

  • Garage bills are a never ending story, but still I like this car a bilion times more then a Fiesta or a Corsa. It's funt to drive it through city ^^

  • He says the SayChento

  • @ysivyboi1 yes he pronounce's it wrong, sounds like he is talking spanish..

  • @ysivyboi1 it's the correct way to say it, in italian :)

  • "Daihatsu Curore" LOL

Thanks for the vids as always

  • Quintin Willson is a nob.
