I would use a matt looking one, with a medium hold Gold is shiny and rock hard is to strong in my opinion.

Hanz de fuko spongewax or Crew fiber would work good for everyday use.

So when I put wax in it I can't do any hair styes, thats why I have to have hair styles like this. My hair is quite thick but it looks really thin just because of the way it sits so tight on my head.

Have you ever considered the thermal reconditioning straightening perm? My hair is like yours. I used a product called "thermal Ionics". I did it myself, it was not difficult. it makes ones hair straight but it doesn't stand on end the way it does after one uses an iron. The process is : you put on the thio creme, you wait until the hair is processed ( I rinsed it out a little early to be safe). Then you dry the hair, then you iron it, doing a thorough job, then neutralize, dry and iron again

I get the sides trimmed frequently to keep it looking "in shape" while the top grows out. I also use tons of styling products and shampoo and condition daily. do this, beat 1 egg yolk and 1 spoon of honey together then apply to your hair until it dry. this will nourish your hair as well as conditioned it.

if your hair is dry do this 1 per week

never wash your hair so often, wash only twice a week and conditioned it after your shampoo after two days your hair will look oily.and natural

if your hair is too dry apply coconut or amla oil and massage your scalp
